I'll try... These aren't even necessarily my most favorite songs by these artists but just what I think are really brilliant songs, well written, well produced, etc. 1. Complicated by Avril Lavigne Pop classic. This was one of the earliest pop songs I listened to growing up. It's just a timeless song, IMO. Over 10 years later, it still sounds as every bit as fresh as it did in 2002. Everything about it is perfect, the structure, the melody, the production, her voice... it's a pop gem. One of the best songs ever in pop music. This is the type of song that every pop artist hopes to have in their career. Forever iconic. 2. Keep Holding On by Avril Lavigne One of Avril's best and most underrated songs, IMO. It's so rare that she has a song that has both a strong melody and strong lyrics and KHO has both. Great lyrics, inspirational message, beautiful vocal, amazing production. 3. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen Genius song written by a genius artist. Incredible song structure, lyrics, production. Everything about it is just epic. 4. Our Song by Taylor Swift Taylor wrote this song at 15 for a high school talent show and it made her the youngest solo artist to reach #1 on the country charts. Insanely catchy, well written and clever lyrics set to an undeniably catchy and infectious country pop guitar track. Some of her most brilliant writing to date. 5. Love On Top by Beyonce Great beat, very Michael Jackson-esque. Beyonce displays such incredible vocal ability in this song, effortlessly transitioning between 4 different key changes. 6. Passenger by Britney Spears IMO one of her best and most underrated songs to date, off her latest album Britney Jean. This song is a lot different than most of her others, it's much less dance-y and more meaningful, nice beat, nice vocals. It has a great meaning and message to it. 7. I See Fire by Ed Sheeran I'm not even really a fan of Ed Sheeran but damn if this isn't a well written and well produced song. It was written as the main theme song for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug film and IMO he did a great job capturing the feeling of the film and writing appropriate lyrics for it. Very cool track. 8. Into the West by Annie Lennox Another song written for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King film. It's just a beautiful song, very beautiful, picturesque lyrics, vocals, and strings. It perfectly fits the movie and is a great ending to the trilogy. Very emotional and beautiful. 9. Painting Pillows by Lauren Alaina Clever and emotional lyrics, great R&B style beat, fantastic vocals. Flawless song, really. 10. Too Little, Too Late by JoJo I remembered this song from years ago but just re-discovered it and downloaded it... I don't know how I went this many years without having this song in my playlist. It's brilliant. I remember JoJo was the shit back around 2004-ish and I know she had some record label issues so she hadn't released anything for quite some time. This lady is talented! She's essentially the 2000s version of Ariana Grande, and as much as I adore Ariana, I think JoJo is even better. I don't like many of her songs, but JoJo easily has one of the best female voices in pop music today. Too Little, Too Late is a pop gem, insanely catchy, soaring vocals, great beat. If this were released on radio today, it would be a #1 hit easily. Now keep in mind, this list is not necessarily my top 10 favorite songs. That probably changes every week. But if I had to assemble a list of what I think are the top 10 best written, best produced songs, this is probably what it would be.

I'm with avrilsmile3100. Or it's a rule you MUST include Avril songs? I love more than 10 music artists it's so hard the 10 ten. It's TOO difficult! No if course not. It's up to you whether any of Avril's songs would be good enough for your top 10. A trial of fire. If a fan of Avril, in a forum of Avril don't put at least one song in his/her Top Ten...

Also Taylor Swift being a Guiness World record beater from the beginning. Some people thinks she just started to beat records recently.

I have my top ten. It was hard and i pushed back more that i wanted but i think this can be my Top Ten of ALL time by now. Maybe in another moment this can be different because many artists are in hold. This gave me so many memories. A playlist on youtube with the top ten songs i picked in this post: Avril Bandaids Top 10 Angel: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqo3ppHqmOh_eZjLfv0oDVUE3dpWaaqLK maybe more than one video for each song. #01. Torn by Ednaswap (Ednaswap, 1995) (also 93, 96, 97, 2001) by Natalie Imbruglia (Left of the Middle, 1997). This song was my first pop hit that i love. I first known the cover, and later the original by Ednaswap. #02. Mary's Song (Oh, My, My, My) by Taylor Swift (Taylor Swift, 2006).I can make a top ten of Taylor Swift, but it's not the only artist. So i picked the song of her i can heard without an overwhelming feeling in my brain. I think this song is so real, yet so sad. A sadness that is produced by melancholy and time not bad things. The verses "you be 89" i think is like the love story of our fathers that met in childhood and still love 80 years later. My father is 60, but is a similar story. "Taylor Swift is 25. But she’s older than you".GQ Magazine 2015. #03. Franklin by Paramore (All we know is falling, 2005).I love this song and it goes in representation of all the songs of paramore that i love. I love the background vocals, i think are warm and homey. And the lyrics talking about the group moving on from franklin to another city and missing her true and only craddle. #04. Como Hablar by Amaral (Una Pequeña Parte del Mundo, 2000).A spanish song and a spanish group. Amaral was the first spanish pop artist that i liked. And "Como Hablar" (how to talk) was my first song heard of Amaral. Maybe Jack , thyarchery , and/or Gabo likes Amaral too because are Famous in spain, and with new album out now. #05. Perfect by Simple Plan (No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls, 2003).en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perfect_%28Simple_Plan_song%29I love all about this song, and this can represent all Simple Plan songs. I love the instrumental, the vocals, the lyrics. The lyrics for me are the best. #06. Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer (Sixpence None the Richer, 1997) by New Found Glory (2007).Kiss me for me is so dreamy, and i like it. Is one of the firsts pop songs i liked and when i heard again, i like the song again. Follows me through time. The New Found Glory version is just for fun, is more energetic, with special guest Paramore and i love paramore and also a bit New Found Glory but not that much. #07. Somewhere Only We Know by Keane (Hopes and Fears, 2004) by Lilly Allen (Sheezus, 2013).Is just so beatiful "so beautiful/ it makes you wanna cry" lyrics from Innocence (TBDT). I love this song and a lot more from Keane, and a lot more of this style. But this song is special. It has a feeling i love. Probably the same feeling of sadness and reality like in Mary's Song. Also i wrote a short story inspired by this song. The version of Lilly Allen for me is less. Good but less. #08. Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by Eurythmics (Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) 1983. Also 1991, 1995, 2006, 2010, Steve Angelo).en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_Dreams_%28Are_Made_of_This%29By Marilyn Manson (Smells Like Children, 1995). By Emily Browning (Suckerpunch, 2011). By Mizar (Svjat Dreams, 1991). By Diesel Disko (2010). By Moonlight (Flos, 1999). By Maria Bello (Duets, 2000). By Krystal Meyers (Make Some Noise 'japan', 2008). By Club for five (2007). By Badi Assad (2007). By Thomas Anders (Songs Forever, 2006). By Lama "Світ мрій", 2008 album Світло і Тінь (Light and Shadow). By Sylvie Vartan (as Déprime, 1983). By Delta Goodrem (Believe Again Tour, 2008). By Tori Amos (2006). By Leona Lewis (Labyrinth tour, 2010). By Whomadewho (2012). By Ruben Block of the Band Triggerfinger, solist and with Stereo Express (2011). By Reba McEntire & Kelly Clarkson (2 worlds 2 voices Tour, 2008). I love the beat and i love the versions too. #09. Pentatonix - Daft Punk (Discovery, 2001, and others)
I love the album Discovery and in this song are included a lot of the singles of Daft Punk and that Album. #10. Fairytale by Alexander rybak (Eurovision Norway, 2009). "Skazka" (Russian: "Сказка") by Alexander Rybak. This was the most voted Eurovision song of All Time with 387 points. I think the rhytm and the violin are awesome, i can't stop moving with this song. A lot of time and a lot of effort but this is my list now. There are only 10 songs (but with versions and mashups XD).

Jack, the song i like the most from your post is "Don't look back in anger" by Oasis. I love too "Efecto Mariposa". I bought the physical album of "Metamorfosis" and i liked most of the songs, "El Mundo", "Dime Donde" are one of my favourites from that album. I don't think "Decode" is the best of paramore, i liked even more "I Caught Myself" than Decode. I think the songs not "Twilight-related" are better.

I'm not really a fan of that group, but more of that specific song, it's got some personal meaning to me. ICM is also good, but Decode is really my favourite song from Paramore, and I don't care if it's Twilight-related, just like I didn't care if KHO by Avril was related to Eragon

Those aren't necessarily my favourite songs of all-time, rather those that are most important to me (my favourite songs change all the time). And damn, that was really difficult. I'm still not sure about the ranking. But well, here goes... 1. "Nobody's Fool" – Avril Lavigne The message of this song is simply awesome and I love all these backing vocals and these guitars. It is also the song that helped me the most in a very difficult time, and helped me be who I am today. So, undoubtedly, this will always be my #1. YouTubeSpotify2. "Welcome To The Black Parade" – My Chemical Romance This song contains some of my favourite lyrics ever. And the structure, the instruments, the singing is phenomenal and so theatrical (I love theatric). Whenever I listen to it, it makes me want to fight, never give up, always carry on ("we'll carry on"). I hope I’m not writing s**t here, but I'm quite sure I read somewhere that the writing process of this song took, like, years.YouTubeSpotify 3. "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" – My Chemical Romance Another MCR song. I love how it's finally not a song that's like "everything's going to be okay, you'll be all right." Because sometimes I just don't want to hear that. Sometimes I want somebody to confirm that nothing's all right, that I am not okay. And this song does that for me. I know, this sounds really dramatic and pessimistic, but believe it or not, it really helped me.YouTubeSpotify 4. "Face Down" – The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus I found this song when I was a kid and I really liked it, but somehow I forgot about it after a while. But then, years later, I re-discovered it, and now I like it even more than I used to. It's about standing up for yourself in an abusive relationship. An amazing and very important message. (gender equality! *claps*)YouTubeSpotify5. "Darlin" – Avril Lavigne I just can't believe Avril wrote this song at the age of only just 14 or 15. I love the simplicity of it, these acoustic guitars, and those lyrics make me feel so happy, loved, and understood that it always makes me cry. YouTubeSpotify6. "I Want It All" – Queen I can be really stubborn. When I really want something no one and nothing can keep me from getting it. So this song is just perfect for me. Oh, and not to forget: these guitars are heaven. YouTubeSpotify7. "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" – Green Day A classic rock song. Everyone knows it. Damn, it won a Grammy! Amazing lyrics, amazing instruments, amazing guitar solo… And haven't we all felt as though we were walking alone before? Well, what else can I say? It deserved that Grammy. YouTubeSpotify8. "Complicated" – Avril Lavigne Another classic (and another Avril song). It reminds me of my childhood, of how I sat in front of the TV watching that music video, having no idea who that amazing girl was. And only three years later I found that out! And that's how it all began. And now I'm here, another eight years later, still a huge Avril fan... YouTubeSpotify9. "Fireflies" – Owl City This song was really huge after its release in 2009. I really liked it back then but then forgot about it and only about a year or two ago I remembered it and realized how amazing it is. I like the topic a lot; Adam Young, the writer, described it as "a little song about bugs and not being able to fall asleep at night." Something I'm sure everyone can relate to. YouTubeSpotify10. "Amsterdam" – Imagine Dragons I just really love this kinda relaxed feeling about this song but at the same time it still has a huge message for me, again about never giving up because "your time will come if you wait for it." YouTubeSpotifyNote: As you can see I added both YouTube and Spotify link to each song, as Spotify is not available in all countries and not everyone uses it. The YouTube link is always the official music video, except songs 1 and 5, because those don't have one (as we all know ).
