Glad you had fun but it's a shame she didn't do anything special for the last show. Whatever happened to the special guest thing Phem teased? Oh yeah, she brought out her partner Tyler Posey (Ive never heard of him) and they announced they were engaged! And then they sang a song together called Shut Up. Also, on Phem, I quite liked some of her songs but how much is she actually singing live? It all sounds either pre recorded or she singing with loads of auto tune. Definitely seemed like she had some heavy autotune & other effects going on yeah.

ahhh the London show was so much better!! We queued up quite early so we were super close to the stage and being able to see Avril and her expressions up close is so much nicer. Her voice was amazing and she seemed to really be enjoying herself The crowd was amazing as well, you could hear constant echoing of the whole venue singing along to her songs which gave me the chills. Also, people in the UK aren't as tall as the Dutchies so I always had a great view hehe. I also love how Here's To Growing Up is the show closer now, it made for such a better concert experience for me and tbh it was still my favourite part of the show. I like to think Avril's team read my comment about the encore in Amsterdam and changed it up for the better lmao. Sad that I had no clue where that night club event would be or that it was even a thing. I was ready for another party but oh well. I'm so happy that I've finally seen her live and so sad that there's no next concert to look foreward to now. hopefully the next wait won't be this long

Well damn it's been almost a year since I've been active here, but I'm feeling sentimental and wanted to share my concert experience, because I finally got to see Avril live in Amsterdam last week! It's so weird to have waited 12 years to finally be able to see her live. I'm super glad the original HAW tour turned into the Love Sux Tour because I'm liking this album and era so much more than HAW. Not that it really matters though because her setlist will forever be all singles amirite . Although I didn't mind that at all, I felt like she has the most fun performing the hits like Girlfriend & Sk8er Boi and that energy translates to the crowd. However, for some reason, I wasn't as hyped right before the concert as I thought I would be, especially after having waited that long, but maybe that was the problem. The show having been moved three (or four?) times, for 3 years in a row.. I feel like every time it got moved I got less and less excited to see her because in a way I felt like the show was never going to happen. I got to the venue a bit late because my friend whom I was going with couldn't get there earlier, but we arrived just in time to see Girlfriends' set, I enjoy some of their songs so I'm glad she's touring with an act that aren't complete strangers to me . And thennnn it was time for Avril herself, the opening with Bad Reputation playing and the visuals actually got me so hyped. The way she came onto the stage holding the balloons while having that silhouette spotlight on her and starting to sing Bite Me, it all felt like a good opener and the crowd felt good and everyone was singing along. I loved the whole first part of the setlist and the show, it was super energetic and hype. I think my favorite part of the whole show was Here's To Never Growing Up, also with the balloons that they released into the crowd which was such a good addition imo. (Except for the part where I literally head bumped into them 5 times without seeing them coming lmao). I really liked that she performed Wish You Were Here on her acoustic guitar. Love Sux on the drums however.. that was not it . I can appreciate that she tried but once the chorus hit, it felt like such a downer lol. It's one of the better and fun songs on the album for me and so it's a bit sad that it was performed with such a lack of energy. I was suuuper excited for Sk8er Boi, and so was Avril. I feel like she genuinely enjoys performing her old songs the most. Everyone was excited and singing along and it was all good, but I started seeing more phones coming up in the air. And once the chorus hit, literally everyone in front of me was just standing still with their phones up filming the thing. Me and my friend were still going crazy and dancing along but damn that was such a vibe killer. It could be because we were standing quite far behind because we arrived a little late but I hate that the crowd around us wasn't that energetic, because this affects a good concert experience so much. Then she went off stage and it was time for the encore. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to pick three low energy tracks (HAW, Avalance & IWY) to close off a show with, but it just didn't work imo. To me it felt like the concert had already ended and we were just dragging along with some afterthought performances. It also just felt like Avril was ready to go home for some reason. The stage presence wasn't really there at this point, (which obviously I knew before going into the concert) but I was hoping for a little more excitement/energy. I was excited for IWY (the show closer) because it's still my all time favourite Avril track, but it didn't hit me as I thought it would. She also left the stage to shake hands with some people in the front row I guess, which felt a little weird to me. It's the last track, an emotional one which everyone loves, and you disappear from the stage leaving everyone wondering what's happening, since there was no live footage on screens in this venue. So the last past of the show was a bit of a downer to me unfortunately. Howeverrrr, I can whine about the little details but overall I had a great time and I'm glad I finally got to see her . It actually started to get me more hyped for the London concert which I'm also going to together with sam who I'm super excited to finally meet up with as well . But this time, I do want to try get a bit more front row at this concert and party with more of the die hard fans. Would love to see and meet some of you guys there as well! Glad you had a great time. But sorry about hte audience. Its not just Avril, its basically all concerts now most of the people will be having their phone in the air recording its so annoying. if i see Avril or Taylor or anybody live ill be dancing and singing my heart out Tbh it's mostly concerts by pop artists where the amount of phones up in the air are really bad. A lot of other concerts I've been to with less popular artists or within other genres, it's not at all this bad.

Yeah it’s not that I hate it cause the album is really awesome and I never skip te song tho but since it’s so short it doesn’t get me in that mood to really enjoy it, if you understand what I mean? I must say last Tuesday I rocked out to this song in my car but I can’t sing along (yet) haha. So many words. But others I can enjoy more. It was a tough ranking to be honest and I don’t know if it will be like this, maybe it changes in the future! it's definitely the best song to blast and rock out in the car with

Sad to see Break of A Heartache is so low on people's list, it's my absolute favorite for now When I think of Avril doing Pop Punk - THIS is literally the perfect example of what I want it to sound like. Yes it's short but it's such a fucking bop and anthem

Just did an album ranking myself as of this moment, I wonder if that's gonna change in the future 1. Break Of A Heartache 2. F.U. 3. Kiss Me Like The World Is Ending 4. Bois Lie 5. Cannonball 6. Avalanche 7. Bite Me 8. All I Wanted 9. Dare To Love Me 10. Love Sux 11. Deja Vu 12. Love It When You Hate Me Most songs are so close though it's hard to make a decision on where to rank them, but I think these are my favourites for now! this album is just so gooooood

Jimmy Kimmel Show Live is out and y'all complain about Avril's stage presence. ngl though I think blackbear was either super nervous, anxious or on drugs. but he sings well? don't know what everyone is complaining about

I hate that Deja Vu is my least favourite song off of the album, while it's bridge is probably my favourite bridge out of all songs. the way she sings "I've seen this all a thousand times" and this melody gives me gooooosebumps

"Ask about me I'm quick to change the subject. I tell the truth but get interrupted. I wish my life came with instructions." By far my favorite line rn. Damn felt that lol Literally heard that line this morning while walking to work and was like - oh shit that hits home. Funny you're mentioning this now
