Yeah I’m not ordering from my local store. It’s more expensive over here, even with shipping costs it’s cheaper to buy and support her via her official website than to place an order here at a local webshop. But only thing I like about it is indeed they album will fall on your doormat the day of the release. Have you tried Amazon? If you ship from them instead of Av's store, it's a lot more likely to arrive on time

I expect CD's will arrive on February 25th unless otherwise stated. The special editions (spray painted edition in the UK and perhaps signed copies, not the ones with art cards) might arrive a little later but otherwise I'd expect it to arrive on release day. That's the case with most artists

As far as I know, I never said anyone is blaming Avril or thinking it’s her fault. I think everyone knows the websites etc are not what Avril herself works on daily. I just shared the Lorde example to show that the signed card 99% will be the album cover art picture in the same size (so you can put it in the album), since some fans are worried that she won’t sign them herself/that it will be a random photo/random size. The comparison to Lorde is not “Lorde team did this so then it’s okay also team Avril does it”. It’s to show an example how an art card could look like, being something you actually can put inside the CD so it looks like the booklet actually also is signed. Sorry but I haven’t seen any comments of people being afraid they will get a random photo or a card not fitting the size of the actual album. Actually it would be nice to get a different photo from the album cover, a one that is sort of exclusive 😁 Yet again, saying the others do so doesn’t change a thing because a card itself is not a problem here. Also, fans really can expect anything at this point because (well again) we know nothing. We bought something what doesn’t exist according to her website (at least partially because the other description still says it’s a signed CD). We can just be sure we’ll get a CD 😅 Read around a little. There are so many fans complaining about that. You will receive what you bought. It seems a bit odd to turn that into "We can just be sure we'll get a CD" when it will clearly come as a signed CD, in whatever capacity the store deems suitable. Strange drama

Why so dramatic about the art card stuff? Seems a lot of people are complaining for the sake of complaining. From any artist, it's never the CD that's signed and its either the booklet or a booklet sized card art card. If anything - it looks like the listing has been changed for an upcoming restock which has signed cards instead of the previous sale which had signed booklets. There was a difference between the US and UK store so it's not like they don't see a difference. Either way - it'll be hand signed. That being said - the cards are easier to do. Quicker, easier to ship etc, hence why that's what was available on the UK/EU store rather than booklets. Just an edit to say - it was clearly never the CD that was going to be signed. No artist does that. It's always the booklet or an art card, no matter who the artist is. Never the CD itself. I think people have the right to complain about a product they paid money for that is not what they actually ordered. No one necessarily believed the CD itself would be autographed, but it was basically implied the booklet would be. It's the fact they changed it after everyone already purchased it that people are annoyed about, and without even telling us directly. It is illegal to sell a product and then change it from what was advertised as it's considered false advertising. The product was never advertised as including a signed artwork card until after everyone had already purchased the product. In the grand scheme of things, maybe it's not that big a deal it's a card instead of the booklet, but the bigger picture is that her team falsely advertised something then waited until they had everyone's money to change it. Her team has this repeated behavior of falsely advertising stuff (the WYWH single Hello debacle for example). It's incredibly disrespectful to the fans and not the way we should be treated at all when she's trying to sell an album. We have every right to be pissed off at this point. Like I said - I am still pretty certain people that ordered the original drop will receive a signed booklet. If not, I expect that the merch team would've emailed everyone who purchased it like merchandise teams usually do. I really think the listing change means nothing and is just for an upcoming restock using the same listing. As for the limited thing - I guess we didn't know there was a limited stock until they sold out so I'm not sure that's a valid tactic from them.

I am almost 100% certain they are hand signed. If they weren't hand-signed, then they wouldn't have been so limited. They sold out so quickly because Avril had either only signed a certain amount or had only agreed to sign a certain amount. The team are very clearly putting a lot of work into making sure this album sells so why would they limit signed sales when they're going so quickly if they were printed and therefore just as easy to make as standard CD's
If it was a printed signature, there would have been no limit or at least a much larger limit.

I think that Vegas festival is good value tbh. A weekend ticket for Reading/Leeds festival in the U.K. costs way more than that, and When We We’re Youngs lineup is way better! I paid £180 each for tickets to one day of a country music festival in London. WWWY is an absolute bargain compared to festival prices over here Country 2 Country in Glasgow costs like £450 and that's for 1 headliner and like 3-4 smaller artists so I think the prices are really decent too

do you think is possible next week THAT both 'Bite Me' and LWYHM will debut on BB100? I expect Bite Me to appear on the top 100 on the next BB100 update and then LIWYHM to appear the week after

4. It seems they're putting a decent effort to promote this as more of a streaming/online hit than Bite Me, presumably in preparation for the next single which I expect to be Bois Lie ft. MGK. Even just based on MGK and Avril's names alone, there's a big potential for a hit there. Where? How? The song is off to a stronger start with playlisting than any other Avril song. That's as a result of the label, not just luck. She's also pushing it harder on her socials than other songs, I think the attempt at a Tik Tok trend is the best example of that.

Yes she's #68 on Spotify TOP 200 USA That’s great! If it doesn’t fall drastically, it should debut easily. This week wasn’t too busy with big releases 🤞🏻 I wonder if it's because of blackbear being on the song that it got a lot of streams. No. It’s just a boring release week and Avril’s the biggest name releasing this week on pop format. Perhaps blackbear has some effect but undoubtedly the release week wasn’t as crowded as the one when Bite Me dropped, it’s just easier to get a better playlisting and media to talk about the release The song has really strong new music play listing - much stronger than any previous Avril release. Every big name on a song obviously adds to the streams, but I think this song is successful for a range of reasons 1. Both of them are big artists with big names 2. HAW era was the first time Avril released stuff in the streaming era and with every track, she has picked up traction on the platform and is doing better each time as she fully transitions to the streaming world. 3. The song and album announcement have both made quite a bit of noise as people are pretty excited for Avril's comeback. 4. It seems they're putting a decent effort to promote this as more of a streaming/online hit than Bite Me, presumably in preparation for the next single which I expect to be Bois Lie ft. MGK. Even just based on MGK and Avril's names alone, there's a big potential for a hit there.

I'm hoping for a better Billboard debut than HAW had, it was her first album to debut outside the top 10. Also sad that Bite Me was her first single not to debut on the Hot 100 either. I would like to see the album chart at least in the top 10 and hopefully do really well on the alternative chart. What I'm really wondering about/hoping for this era is if she will finally secure any Grammy nominations/wins, at least in the alternative categories. She hasn't been nominated literally since her first album which is a shame. She's well overdue to win a freaking Grammy already and I know she has said she still wants to win one. If this album is well produced, I hope maybe she can secure a nomination maybe for Best Alternative Album. don't speak too soon!! Last week, Bite Me hit its peak on all of the charts the song has charted on so far! There's still a chance for it to hit the top 100!

I expect about 50k first week sales which would beat HAW and AL, but not GL.

Is it possible to unsubscribe just in case? That’s my problem, I was so hyper about exclusive content, I signed up and haven’t find out how to unsubscribe…. My creditcard will expire in August this year so if it’s all difficult it will end by then hahaha 🤣 If you have an iPhone it will be in your Apple settings when you click your name at the top or if you have Android, it's in the Google Play app at the top left I think
