ATLA and LOK are my favorite animated shows of all time- I started watching ATLA 10 years ago  and LOK a few years ago. Making this thread to find if anyone else really likes the show! If I had to choose which one I prefer I'd say I like both, they both have their moments  Who are your favorite characters from the shows and what's your favorite element? Mine would be Korra, Katara, Bolin, Zuko, Azula plus Suyin (too many to list) and Water

The movie is awful and doesn't even come close to the series  It could of been a really success movie franchise like Star Wars and hopefully then an Avatar MMO could of came about (I would play the crap out of that) but sadly that's not the case and we have M Night Shyamalan to thank for it |

A "i hate the adaptation to movie" post?
I can tell dozens of books adapted awfully, and others really awfully. But is something i can't change.
I liked Aang, and was my opportunity to know something about the saga.
I'm not sure if the saga (anime) is too long, or is boring in some points, or have filler to enlarge the amount of episodes, i don't know. But if someone tell me the series is "flawless" i will watch it.
I don't want to watch the series alone. This is another reason. Nothing of my friends seems to watch the series. Maybe if someone here can watch it too to comment the same episodes.....

Everyone hates the film it's just a really, really, bad movie and is more or less forgotten The cartoon is long if you watch the first series (ATLA has 3 books around 20 episodes each) after that, LOK has 4 books and I think has 12 episodes each, it is darker and more shorter plus alot more mature |

Makes it seem pretty dramatic but it is quite a dark series ^ I love this fight an·i·me ˈanəˌmā/ noun noun: anime a style of Japanese film and television animation, typically aimed at adults as well as children.  |

Thanks Cookie Monster , you have caught the intention behind my message. I'm not sure to start with "The las Airbender" Series. Is a memorable, unforgettable series or is "just good"? What are the reason* to start seeing this and not other series? I can't stay hours and hours in front of a screen doing nothing. But if i do several things in front of the screen i miss the series. I'm impatient by nature. But if the series worth it i can make the effort. Who else is going to see the series from the beginning too? [Sorry if i miswrite something] |

To be honest, ATLA is great for children under 14 or something. You are way too old, bro. And I think LOK is mainly aimed for people like me or Blizz who watched ATLA in their childhood.
