True! I’m very curious about the record and I really love the music they make. The lyrics are not relatable for me but I like their sound and followed them from the beginning.

I don't understand. Where are Tom Morello's vocals? At first, I thought I missed it then I thought maybe he's just playing an instrument but I just read he gave his vocals? I only hear the kids choir. I can't hear a man's voice in the background either. I'm super confused.

To me, it sometimes seems like she's counting down her age. Thinking of how close to death she is becoming or at one point thought that she would die young "all through my teens, I screamed I may not live much past". She's kind of surprised that she's still alive like when she screams "at 25 and still alive" in the music video. There's also the lyric "Year one was lots of fun" - I'm assuming that's when she's at age 21 when everything is kind of fun at that age.

"3 I still believed that we would be becoming destiny" - I take it as she thought she was still going to die young at that age.

Sorry I'm kind of all over the place with my thoughts. But basically this song is about death. Though I wonder why 25? It's usually the 27 club. Anyways, I feel like my theory fits mostly because this is an album called "death by rock and roll". Plus she's mentioned her producer and Chris Cornell who both passed away in interviews all the time. I think I recall her saying she relapsed after their deaths but music saved her again. But she's come to terms that she's gonna live a longer life than she though she would.
