If anyone else in here has Spotify: Taylor Momsen is the guest on this weeks episode of the podcast ‘Rock This with Allison Hagendorf’. Not sure if it’s uploaded anywhere else. Awesome. I was wondering why Allison didn't play the new song last week when Tom Morello was the guest on both the podcast and TPR new song. It's because she was gonna get Taylor on next  Did she say anything new? |

I listened to the interview. There's not a lot of new info but it's nice to listen to her. She always surprises me with how mature she is.
An interesting note, she hopes that we listen to the album from front to back. It tells a story. Very heavy and bleak but shifts to the light at the end of the tunnel, that there is hope.
25 is autobiographical and a reflection of her life. "All the ages and all the numbers and getting to 25". My theory fits!
And there is another video that she filmed in NY.

I'm currently at my first listen and now I'm at Turning Gold, I really like it so far! I'm amazed by their music and I must day DBRnR is their weakest song tbh, I like the others way better!

Her voice is freaking amazing. It felt really good listening to this album. Like there were some deep moments but light at the end of the tunnel. The story arch of the album overall is just perfect. I could really hear her beatles inspiration towards the last songs. I just love it so much. I hope it reaches number 1.

I’m on my second listen of the day, and I’m quite happy with it. It’s probably the first album I’ll listen through multiple times since Light Me Up. I liked Who You Selling For, but it does get boring. I like that the theme of this album is more diverse than Going to Hell (Hell theme gets old). The album overall is strong (except DXRNR), and I love to see Taylor find a happier place in life and I hope the music keeps showing that. The last 4 songs were solid.... I especially love Harley Darling.

Just listened to the new album tonight and wow, I enjoyed it a lot more then I was expecting. I’d say I’m a pretty casual Pretty Reckless fan. Figured it’d be a ‘about 3 songs I like, maybe a few ok songs, and rest I wouldn’t really come back to at all’ type of album for me....but I actually loved it. Only song I didn’t really like was ‘My Bones’, couldn’t get into that one, at least not yet. And Broomsticks, an interlude I guess? Seemed kinda pointless to me and I’ll save those 38 seconds when I’m listening to the album again in the future  . Feel like the album had a Classic Rock feel to it too. Overall a great album, 5/5 for me. Probably will be one of my favorites of this year. Even really liked the 2 slower songs ‘Rock And Roll Heaven’ and ‘Harley Darling’ to end off the album, and I wouldn’t say I’m usually too big on that style. |

Better than expected I really love it!! I love the music and her explaining that the album starts dark and sad and angry but there is hope and I really love the hopeful songs like Rock N Roll Heaven and Harley Darlin too!!  Gosh this is indeed an album of them I will listen to it multiple times from start to end but I must say Deth By Rock N Roll is the weakest to me. The most boring one to listen to but the meaning behind it is good! |

How did they comment it tho? Woops I forgot to answer you! So rude of me! Sorry!! But on Spotify you have 2 versions of the album, the commentary one is more brownish as a color while the original cover of the album is more blue-ish. But maybe you already have listened to it by now! |
