Yeah I hope we get an updated film! I really enjoyed watching the original because it was different to my show, but I’d also like to be able to relive the version of the show I saw
I might try to stream the last show. Think it’ll be the early hours of the morning here but it’ll be fun to watch along for the final show! I feel a bit sad it’s coming to an end

TTPD is nominated 5 times at this years Grammys!
Best Pop Vocal Album
Album of the Year
Record of the Year - Fortnight
Song of the Year - Fortnight
Best Music Video - Fortnight
Gracie Abrams is also nominated for Best Pop Duo/Collaboration Performance for “us”
This is Taylor’s 7th time being nominated in Best Pop Vocal Album. If she wins again, it will be her 3rd win. This is also her 7th nomination for AOTY. If she wins again, she will extend her record by being the most awarded artist in the category with 5 wins.
Additionally, this is her 7th SOTY nomination but she has yet to win in this category. If I’m being honest, I don’t see Fortnight getting either SOTY or ROTY (which she has also never won despite being nominated several times). I think there’s a chance it could get Best Music Video.
Considering she just won Best Pop Album and AOTY last year I’m not sure how good her chances are of winning again, despite the fact I think TTPD is infinitely more deserving than Midnights than was. But I also think they’ll award it to who deserves it, regardless of whether that person already won recently. It’s happened before. All that being said, she has some tough competition in these categories (Beyoncé, Sabrina, Billie, Charlie XCX, Chappell Roan). I could see Sabrina taking a lot of these.

Side note: How did the Eras Tour film not get nominated in Best Music Film? That seemed like a shoe-in to win, let alone get nominated.

I think Taylor might win Video of the Year for Fortnight. Maybe Pop Vocal for TTPD. I dont see her winning AOTY again. And nominating us. wasn't necessary tbh, none listened to that song...
I hope Sabrina will win somet cause she has had such a huge year.
I'm curious if Chappel Roan will either be going home with 0 grammys cause the industry doesnt like her honesty OR of she will win everything cause she has that popstar gene and I think we will hear from her for a long time.

I think Sabrina is a shoe-in for Best New Artist and ROTY for Espresso. Not sure about Chappell Roan but she is really big right now. I do think Taylor's got a really strong chance for AOTY despite already winning last year. I mean it's undeniably a huge album and contains some of her best work. But I also think she has strong competition like Beyonce, Sabrina, Billie, Charlie, etc. I don't think Fortnight will get anything other than maybe the music video award so I'd be surprised if Taylor goes home completely empty handed this year. It's too bad there was no way to know what she'd put out because I don't think Midnights honestly deserved AOTY from a musical standpoint but TTPD does. It's kind of like how I think the Grammys knew they screwed up when they didn't give Ariana anything for Dangerous Woman but the following year they gave Sweetener Best Pop Vocal Album despite objectively being a worse record.

Hmm that’s a good point but I could see film awards caring more about that rather than a music awards. I don’t know about the other films that got nominated but maybe it’s because it was just a concert film and not a documentary or biopic? I still think it deserved a nomination though, I mean it’s the biggest tour in history and was the highest grossing concert film ever. |

I have been watching a lot of reaction and analysis videos on Taylors music recently and I wanted to share this one about So Highschool. It starts around 01:16:00.
I loved So Highschool from the first listen and I need an album full of songs like that (from both Taylor and Avril!). I guess many fans dont really like it and it see it doesnt fit the album that well BUT it's one of her best songs imo.
Also I'm just a sucker for a romantic story. The whole Travis and Taylor thing is sooo american, sooo over the top but it feels like watching a movie. And in the video the creator really highlights how healing it can feel to have a relationship that makes you feel so young and carefree.
