So I'm putting together the next episode of the podcast, all about the self-titled album, and I was wondering if anyone might be able to remember something.
I seem to remember there was a poll where we could vote on what we wanted the Target edition cover to look like and we had 2 choices, but I can't find anything online to verify this. I just remember there were 2 different choices, one was obviously the blue and red paint-splattered cover with album title in red, which is the one that was chosen. But I can't for the life of me remember what the other one was and there is no trace of it online (I even searched through Avril's Twitter but it only goes back through 2016). I want to say it might have been black with white paint and the album title in blue? It was almost like they were the same but the colors were just inverses of each other.
Edit: Now I'm remembering - the edition that was chosen is blue with red paint but the blue is the prominent color. I think the other edition was also blue with red paint but the red was the more prominent color and the album title was in blue I think?

Avril Lavigne is one of my favourite albums, I would like a album like this again. Rock N Roll is one of my favourite songs of all time  I also love the song. It's like all her style compressed into one, unfortunately something so wrong with the instrumental production |

I think the album would have been better if the tracklist were extended up to 15 or more songs because the album is so diverse. Summer songs such as RNR, HTNGU, 17, BS & SOS were clearly dominant in the record. Everytime I played the album by order, it kinda feels like there's something missing in between each song especially in the latter part of the album (YASNY - HH)
Sonically, I like the flow from RNR to BS. BS to LMG trasition is not smooth. Somehow, LMG to HK manage to balance it out. But from YASNY to HH, it's really messy. It need some songs in between to balance it out.

^ hmm never thought of it that way. If it was longer maybe this album could have been better. It was already diverse so they might as well should have added more songs. It wasn't uncommon to have deluxe or more songs during that era.

I like that album too, it has a few songs I skip mostly but that's like 3 songs so I do enjoy the other songs a lot!

My favorite song on the album is Falling Fast. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who loves this song. I think everyone liked FF when the album first came out but people don't seem to talk about it much now. I agree it's one of the best songs on there, maybe even the best |
