Album Rankings 01. UMS no skips on this album 02. Let Go even though i hardly ever listen to this album. 03. AL skip a few tracks listening to this album , listen to it more than Let Go even though i like Let Go more. 04. GL i like the natural sound of this album production fits it well don't listen to it much. 05. TBDT full of reverb, some vocal enhancer, if she really did record drunk then it does not get any lazier than that. unnatural sound. for me her voice is poor that is being polite. don't listen to this album anymore and have not for a long time. i am sure i will not listen to this album again.

Albums Ranking:
1) 2002 Let Go: From nobody to divinity with one album. All songs are pleasant to listen. Its freshness gives me joy.
2) 2004 Under My Skin: Her most emotional album. powerful, meaningful, this album is an entire story. You need to be in the mood to listen it in one shot.
3 )2013 Avril Lavigne: A pretty good album in average. Only one problem, her voice is annoying during some refrains of songs while in the same time verses and bridges are flawless. The reason: too much "electronic" effects put by her producers on her voice. Acoustic and live versions are better. Funny fact, you have probably her worst song and her best song on the same record.
4) 2011 Goodbye Lullaby: Half of this album is dictated by producers who want some radio hits, the other half is from Avril who wants recreate the emotion she put into UMS. The result is weird when you listen this album in one shot. But if you take songs one by one, it's worth it. You have a couple songs which are very good.
5) 2007 The Best Damn Thing: Unfortunately this album is limited to a narrow targeted audience. So if you are out of target, you can't enjoy it. A childish album to avoid.

I found Butch Walker is a very great producer. I wonder why he couldn't out stand through TBDT and GL... I mean, My Happy Ending proves it. Only Avril and him made such a complete and memorable song

My album ranking: 1. Goodbye Lullaby (I know some songs doesn’t fit there but the rest is perfect) 2. Under My Skin (The only reason why it's not 1 is because the happy songs sound too similar to each other) 3. The Best Damn Thing (I love the happy/punky sound of it) 4. Let Go (I don't understand the hype it gets but it's a very good album) 5. Avril Lavigne (It sounds too diverse for me)

My album ranking:
1. Goodbye Lullaby - The most moving and intimate album. I find it perfect. 2. Avril Lavigne - I know I'm backward, but I really enjoyed her musical experimentation. I find it's a cool, varied, powerful, sincere, nostalgic album. I think it's a great tribute to the previous phases of her life and career. I adore Falling fast, Let me go, Hush Hush, Hello Heartache, Bad Girl,YASNY,GYWYL: songs that show a remarkable artistic evolution, in my opinion. 3. The Best Damn Thing - Her most rocky and powerful record. 4. Under My Skin - As everyone I love rock contaminations, but I don't forget taht this album is the fruit of an angry and depressed teenager. I like the female message and the attack on maschilism, but at times she seems too steriotyped. 5. Let Go - I follow her from Let Go, but for a long time is the album I love less. I find it unconvinced, forced, little cared for by her, despite contains beautiful songs

My album ranking:
1. Let Go - Has always been my favorite album and likely always will be. It was not only my introduction to Avril but it just holds a special place in my heart. I think every song is great and the album has a nice flow, despite being a variety of styles. The production is timeless. This album never gets old for me.
2. The Best Damn Thing - I think this album gets a lot of undeserved flak. Yes it's bratty, but I also enjoy the "I don't care" attitude and the aggressive guitars. It's a really brilliant pop/punk album IMO.
3. Under My Skin - I used to not like this album so much but have grown to appreciate it in recent years. I think it's pretty overrated for what it is, but it is a really well-produced album IMO. Unfortunately it is a little too much of the same thing for me to really enjoy it and want to listen to it often.
4. Goodbye Lullaby - As I've said many times when talking about this album, I think it was a good idea on paper but poorly executed. Even aside from the Max Martin songs that obviously stick out, I think the production just could have been way better on a lot of the songs. I think the album is kind of boring, also. I appreciate she tried writing and producing on her own as well as playing more instruments.
5. Avril Lavigne - Easily her worst record by far. The unfortunate thing is that most of the songs themselves are pretty good and overall enjoyable. But the album as a whole is missing that Avril stamp for me, it just feels like a collection of random songs. There is no consistency in the theme or sound. Nothing about it screams "Avril" to me, like her other albums do.

My album rankings:
1) Under My Skin (What can I say... for me this album is a masterpiece. It's perfect. The lyrics and the sound are really deep and powerful. Every time I listen to the songs of this cd, I always find new shades. Timeless.
2) Let Go (An album that I will never tire of listening to. Each song is special)
3) Goodbye Lullaby (Really a nice album, very intimate, acoustic. There are really memorable tracks. Much underestimated, it deserved more. Too bad.
4) The Best Damn Thing (It certainly has a very good rock sound, but the lyrics of the songs, and the quality, are not up to the three albums mentioned above. "Innocence" and "When you're gone" are the exceptions.
5) Avril Lavigne (Apart a couple of very good songs, it is too far from the classic Avril style. And how rightly said someone else... too electronic effects on her voice.

Album ranking:
1. Avril Lavigne 2. Under my skin 3. Goodbye Lullaby 4. Let go 5. The Best Damn thing
On my list the 1-4 really met up with what was the stage in my life at that time when the record was released. I have the most fond of memories with her latest record, so it'll easily rise up to the top. Where as with TBDT I was far from being in that happy place at the time. Nowadays I really like those songs as well, but something needs to be the last so...

Mine -
1. Let Go. She won't release a better album than this. A classic. 2. Under My Skin. Image was perfect, songs are perfect. I don't skip any on this album. Don't Tell Me is probably my fave song of hers and all the singles and videos were spot on this era. 3. TBDT. I only skip IAGWIW which I have no doubt is her worst song ever. Other than that I really like the album, TBDT (song) is one of my faves. 4. AL. I mean it's not terrible, but it's inconsistent and the songs are either really good or really bad. Love HH (x2), like GYWYL, Bad Girl and YASNY. They're probably the only ones I'd choose to listen to from this album, as a whole it's nothing more than 'okay'. 5. GL. Sorry but I don't see the appeal of this album. Remember When is a solid song, the chorus of Smile is good but let down by its verses, Push had potential but ruined by her horrific vocals in it. The rest of the album is shocking and by far her worst to date IMO. I never ever listen to this. The tour for this was rubbish too.
