I'm in the process of making a video using iMovie 11. I had a few glitches with the video. First, a couple times the video would freeze-frame a clip before moving to the next clip, however this only seemed to happen in playback. Once the video was exported, that issue was gone and the video played as normal. But then a new issue came up. In one clip towards the end, there is a glitch while it plays. I checked the original video and the original video plays normal. However, when I run my cursor through the clip in the Events browser, you can see the glitch happen. I even deleted the clip and inserted it again into the video and re-exported the video and it still had the glitch. I asked someone I work with if she would know why it would happen and she said the only thing may be that there was something wrong with the original clip or that something went wrong when I downloaded the video. But the video is from an official VEVO channel, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with the quality of the clip. Thoughts?

I used to have trouble with stuff like this when making my skating videos, it was generally caused by (I'm no computer expert) my computer being too slow - due to memory or whatever - to play my videos. They would glitch and pause and freeze, once I exported them and played them on my tv or whatever though they generally worked fine.
If it's happening with a certain clip/s, it'd probably be worthwhile downloading it again, there could've just been a little glitch while downloading it causing the problems.

The clip could of become corrupted at the end, but your saying that it had a few freezing issues while using iMovie and that honesty sounds like a performance problem, If you haven't already I'd reccomend closing everything as video editing is extremely demanding; regardless of your macs specs. I'd also make sure the computer is running at a fairly cool temperature, there also could of been an error when it was exporting the clip.
What exactly is this "glitch" towards the end in the exported clip?

The clip is the part in the Complicated music video when Avril and the band are walking away. As a guy walks past them the colors change to a sort of X-ray like style, like that green gray color and it flashes for a couple seconds. You can try downloading the video and seeing if it does the same thing to you.
I also don't have other programs running while iMovie is open. I might have to download the video again and see if that fixes it.

Also have you been through the frames of the video to make sure it wasn't just a transition mistake?

Okay so basically I just downloaded the video again and inserted the clip again and it fixed it, so this thread can be closed now. Thanks for all the help!
