She/her team make the experience of being an Avril fan as little rewarding as possible, and it's beginning to get quite frustrating. In a world of social media where it's literally SO incredibly easy to connect and engage with an audience and let them have a more personal connection to the artist, we're still treated with the longest periods of silence ever and the most impersonal treatment where you can so easily tell it's hardly ever Avril behind the screen wanting to check in on her fans and promote some sort of communication.

Not even one promo single yet? Or a proper interview about the album with actual information? Or some short behind the scenes to keep up the hype? I get that the release is still 3 months away, but to drop the lead single and then nearly disappear again after a couple performances and a couple interviews is just really disappointing and underwhelming for what should be ~the~ comeback of her career.

No way! I need to check that out. I grew up with her first two albums.

I’m against comparing with other artists and so but yeah this Dido thing, specially being signed with BMG, bothered me thinking of Avril! Almost 2 months of HAW gosh
