I'm hoping "Tell me it's over" is 95% Avril influenced rather than Melissa Bel. Are there any other writers listed for this song?
I listened to her Spotify playlist linked in her IG and didn't really like it. Her song "Distance" has a nice style, kind of Rock and Jazz feel. The only song I thought sounded good. And maybe something Avril could go for with this album.

Somehow I feel "Tell Me It's Over" will have some Jazz influence. No idea why, just a random feeling... Whether it's a proper single or just a promo single, I think (hope) we'll get the album pre-order, album release date, and album cover art with it. If that’s the case I see this being one of the songs she worked with Zane as well! |

Interestingly enough Tell Me It's Over doesn't appear to be registered on ASCAP.
I think we will get a brief snippet or 2 before the release, like she did with HAW. Maybe there will even be a lyric video for it.

If a song is going to be released, it has to be copyrighted, regardless of what album it’s on. Hell, there’s tons of songs registered on there that are unreleased. |

I don't wanna anticipate a very specific sound or whatever, I'll just let her surprise me. But honestly, I imagine it'll be an emotional song I'll probably cry to. I'm excited!

This is amazing news! Less then a week and we have a new song!! The title sounds very good and I think it will be a strong power ballad, also some of you keep saying jazz influence and I'm so open minded for that or a bit different sound!  It defenitely will not be a HTNGU, RNR WTH song (I think) YAY SO HAPPY!! |

Maybe I'm wrong, but I imagine a strong powerful ballad about a break up... the single cover is pretty "gothic" and therefore I feel some MHE or NH vibe. Who knows. However it's really cool that we got new music before the end of the year!
