I know a lot of people are liking these covers for the competition, and they are mostly good on a technical level, but so many of them just look like to me like the kind of thing you would find on the cover of a self published supernatural romance style novel just in better quality. come on, design is copy and edit lol |

I know a lot of people are liking these covers for the competition, and they are mostly good on a technical level, but so many of them just look like to me like the kind of thing you would find on the cover of a self published supernatural romance style novel just in better quality. I feel the same haha. I mean a lot of them are great, but in design less is more, and a cover needs to be clear and concrete (in some of them u can't even read her name or the title song) it's not an illustration, but then...who knows what she will like so, everything is possible. |

The spamming IG users are selfish That's true. It makes normal users like me who only have 1 artwork losing the game. Avril will never see all entries. I bet she sees 10 or 30 and choose one of them. And the people who have 20 have a better chance to win this. If I were Avril I wouldn't count them Or just one of these 20 artworks. |

I think what someone said before is probably right - her team is probably checking the hashtag once every few hours and narrowing it down for maybe 10 or so that Avril will pick from. It is still a cool idea, regardless of who wins.

You know, I always see fans talking about how Avril made a fan contest for Fly... she did but it WASN'T for the single cover, it was for merch. I remember specifically because I got my mum to buy me one at the time lol |

Something has been on my mind for a while. Please don't think of this as negativity. I'm genuinely surprised and happy Avril is doing something to notice the fans.
But I use Spotify and when an album comes out or is already out, a single cover is usually replaced by the album cover. Or there's a gif/mini video playing (I love those, except for Billie with the spider).
Does this happen on Apple music, Amazon music, or whatever you use to listen to music? Because I really don't see the point in this campaign atm.
