Can’t wait to see which cover she chooses as the official one. I think this has been a great move from her/her team. Making the fans feel involved is key to make them want to stick around and come back.

It would’ve been better if this campaign had been carried out on Talent House, which is widely used now for this kind of things. Instagram shows only most recent uploads on top, so I don’t know how they’ll make the selection process. Maybe Jen has been checking all uploads every hour or so, and will pick the best ones from that time span and so on. Avril will make the final decision among the ones picked by her team. It’s all supposition, but I HIGHLY doubt Avril is constantly checking people’s uploads on IG.

If there rumors are true It Was In Me or Birdie should be next

If they end up sending the song to radio I doubt it’ll go anywhere on the charts, but otherwise I think it’s good that Avril is going for what she wants rather than what she thinks will do the best. Billie Eillish has kind of brought dark pop into the mainstream now so perhaps this could do reasonably well. It is also different than what she normally does and more people might take notice of that. I hope they will do a good video for it.

As things are going on this era, I think if Devil flops it will be the end of the era. I really doubt she will make It was in me or Birdie singles after so much time if Devil flops....idk, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe one more single as a last try to save the era (maybe realesed during the tour).

Seriously, her fans have designed so many better covers than her team ever has or ever will.

I know a lot of people are liking these covers for the competition, and they are mostly good on a technical level, but so many of them just look like to me like the kind of thing you would find on the cover of a self published supernatural romance style novel just in better quality.
