How can gf be so low and not in the top 10 Along with Sk8er Boi?? Do you not like the upbeat songs anymore? But those are classics! What is going on?? Maybe we grow older this year and her emotional songs helped us more this year. |

Get Over It and How You Remind Me top 30 lol? Better than GF, TMIO, Who Knows, HH? madness WYWH overrated as ever I see I was shocked that How You Remind Me made it that high. The interesting thing about it is, when I was filling it out, I wasn't thinking is this song better than song X, I was just ranking each song. So I guess if I really like GF, but also really liked HYRM cover, they may have similar scores on my ranking. I guess that's why these results are so interesting because we all are like "whaaa?", but we really never were comparing songs directly to each other when filling it out. |

GYWYL is way overrated, I'd exchange Things I'll Never Say with How Does It Feel, something bothers me with WYWH being above so many other quality songs, and How You Remind Me is a Nickelback song, period.
Regarding MV's, sorry to all fans, but HAW's video is too underwhelming and too flawed to be so high. DTM's final "ascension" of Avril is just as technically awkward as all of those green screens in HAW, and too many elements are just too cliche for me to really like it. I'd put it right above Mobile, and I'd move Hello Kitty above both. Personally, I rather watch the lyric video over the 'real' one, my imagination is just more exciting than the official vid.

You know what really surprised me about the videos is that for all the love IFILWTD got, it is only number 6 (although with a high average). I can almost guarantee IWY is number one.

The HAW music video is very overrated. It's not bad, I actually quite enjoy it every time I watch it, but more than half of all of Avril's music videos are better. HAW's music video just has too many flaws.
WYWH, Breakaway, and Smile are totally overrated again. WYWH and Smile are okay, but there are at least 30 songs that are so much better. I never liked Breakaway much, neither Avril's nor Kelly's version. I can't even really say why, it just doesn't really move me.
This year, I also find Hello Heartache overrated. I used to love it, but now I find it kinda meh. I guess it's Avril's dumb accent that totally ruins the song for me.
I Will Be will forever be one of the most overrated songs ever. I was surprisingly lax with it this time, gave it 6/10 (which means "alright" for me), but I could never give it more than that. It's cheesy, cliché, and sounds high-pitched. Doesn't even reach top 70 for me.
At least some of my all-time favourite songs are in the top 30, yay! Fall To Pieces, Birdie, Slipped Away, Take Me Away, Together, How You Remind Me, Get Over It. How Does It Feel deserves a higher spot, but I'm totally fine with an average rating of 8.5/10.

Don't forget, at that point in time she was called the anti-Britney, because she was anti-sleaze. In that song she made it clear it was okay to say NO to a boy. My guess is that was meaningful to a lot of teenage girls at a time where everything was sex, sex, sex. It earned her a lot of respect from me. |

Album rank isn’t shocking at all.
I’m really surprised HAW was voted her 2nd best song though. I wouldn’t even put it in the top 10 I don’t think. It’s a good song but she has so many others that are classics that beat this one for me.
Other than a few surprises (namely most HAW songs being voted out early), I don’t think the results are super surprising here. Yawn. Will she ever release an album people like more than UMS?
