[SINGLE] We Are Warriors

I really like this - I think a lot of people seem to forget that Avril hasn't done this for them... its a charity single to help with a worldwide pandemic.

The message is good and its a song most of the wolrd hasn't heard yet - this isn't a song for the fans... its a song for the world.

Listen to it or not, don't sit there and slate Avril for being lazy and unimaginative when all she's doing is her part to fight back.

It's better than Fly. I don't mind the little "I'm doin' whatever it takes" mistake because it only shows that she is doing her best and we should too.
I hope a lot of people will hear it and make this song huge. Warrior is one of my favorites on HAW.

It's way better than Fly, but still not good, since the original Warrior is not good in terms of lyrics, imho.

Anyway I do not agree with the argument "It's a charity single then it's ok for me". I don't like the idea that things that are done for charity can be rushed or can be leftovers just because it's for charity. I can do something for charity putting all my efforts into it, and putting out something great in order to gather more attention, more awareness, more money. Meaning I'm really interested in doing what I'm doing, not that I'm doing it just to show that I did something for the cause.
And being music related, charity or not, it shows how much of passionate you are about your job. You should read lyrics over and over to begin with and avoid things that can be misinterpreted. So as usual she's working in a superficial way and it does not make a difference because it's for charity, if anything it makes me look at the situation even in a worse way.

It's a nice gesture, and pretty much exactly what I expected. It's nice to see her trying to use her platform to help.

"We're stronger, that's why we're alive" REALLY needed to be changed though. I can't believe no one in her team noticed how insensitive that line instantly became when directly linked to the pandemic -- it made me very uncomfortable upon first listen, personally.

Oh well, I doubt this song will reach many people outside her core fanbase, so I guess it doesn't matter that much. Her fans know she only had good intentions.

She should change it. I hope they realize that mistake before it blows up. People aren't really nice already, love to bring up the HK video and the fan pictures, add in that many aren't letting celebs pass with insensitive things during these times. I don't think a lot of people will hear the song but theres bound to be some media outlets who report about the song and could catch that lyric. Billboard made an article earlier this week.

Hi guys, to be honest I'm not surprised, not even disappointed. I knew this was gonna happen, we all knew. I like she add some strings at the beginning and that she changed some highs and lows here and there. Warrior is not the same as we are warriors to me. Yes, she changed lyrics a little little bit but the story behind warrios is not the same story behing we are warriors. One is more personal, the other is meant to be a song to raise some money in order to help the world to fight this new virus.
I don't really know what some people expected but this is more than I expected due to have no one to record it better, in her home studio with the help of who knows which guy.
The intention behing this song is what I really care about.
I've heard that she's also appearing on the Stronger together on april, 26th ,I don't know if it's been confirmed yet. soooo, I agree with some of you who says this is similar to Fly and I do think it is at some point. The real purpose of this and that single are totally the same. Let's wait for the video, maybe we get chills seeing all this people working hard to save lives.
