 So since WAW is coming and it may be the 4th closing single of the HAW era, here is the thread for it! - Avril re-recorded the vocals for Warrior and refers to the new song as "We Are Warriors" - She's working on a project with everyday heroes from the frontlines of COVID-19, she asked pictures and videos from us about them possibly for a music video RELEASE DATE: 2020. 04. 24. |

I’m so hyped for this song to come out. It’s probably going to be like the rock and roll lyric video. I love the single artwork, it’s so well made and good quality! I love how it already has a shorthand WAW thats epic. Does anyone know what she is going to be live-streaming the song on? I have pre-added it to all my music services already lol 🖤

I'm so excited for this! AVRIL IS THE BEST.
I had a ticket for her concert in Munich... that she is going to rerelease this song for us in this hard times is so special from her. She is thoughtful... and knows she cant give us no new dates for her tour. so she brings us music into our living rooms... YES GIRL!!!

Wow... I was not expecting a live stream... at all!
I figured she would just drop the song and leave it to oblivion.
If she's committed to live stream maybe she's committed to do something for this song.
I hope as has been stated before that this is not only a change to the plural. "We are warriors, we'll fight for our lives"...
The song as it stands doesn't have enough strength to be a hit. It will take a bit more production wise to bring it to 2020 and become a landmark in this period.

I would love if they used a bit of the instrumental from the demo version, where it sounds a bit more “rock”, specially after the bridge, which always reminded me a bit of Innocence.
And I agree on what is being said about the lyrics, changing only the I for We wouldn’t really make it justice and some parts would sound cringey AF. Hopefully the lyrics will live up to what she described in her post and there are some other slight changes as well.
