I'm not sure those are extensions lol. Her hairline looks pretty small compared to the pictures shared this past week. But if it's a wig, i think it's another one, this one is better, no more ugly roots and this one seems to have layers. We'll have to wait for the official pictures and see. I hope it's not a wig...she needs to stop this nonsense 😂

I think they probably shot the single cover for their collab, but not sure if they shot anything just for Avril. I hope if Avril is going all out with this “rock and roll” thing this era, that it’s done right and it’s done well and she doesn’t try too hard with it. The constant use of bullhorns and being like “heLL yA sooooo RAWK aNd ROLL BaTcH” is going to wear thin quickly and just looks cringey. She doesn’t need to look like some 14 year old girl discovering Guns N Roses for the first time. My thoughts exactly. If she's constantly pushing it every time she's in front of the camera it just won't look natural. She's a girl who loves rock music and has had a past in pop-rock and pop-punk, so all she really needs to do is show that passion and be authentic to herself. Everything else will follow naturally if she has genuine conviction in what she's doing and if she shows it. She doesn't need to put on a persona to "look the part" -- that won't make her any edgier or cooler. Just like saying "let em know we're still rock n roll" and throwing a little homage to November Rain in the MV with her pretending (quite badly) to play the guitar didn't make her look any edgier or cooler in the AL days. |

And suddenly Bigger Wow became a banger, WOW what a twist in the instrumental can make right?. I love it. (There's also a hard rock version of Hello Kitty on youtube which is amazing) Suddenly a song i always skipped sounded interesting for the first time. Thanks for sharing 👍 |

And all of a sudden her hair is super long again haha. She doesn’t like giving things away does she. When the photosphere says to her tell them what we did today her response is “that’s a wrap”. she's such a tease. But she's not very good at it. |

So this song popped up in my playlist and got me thinking how the collab might sound. This is a very specific FOB sound so I doubt it will be anything too similar to this, BUT i hope she does show off her vocals. Demi is arguably a better vocalist than Avril but our queen can put out some pretty cool vocals too. She delivered on What child is this, so i hope she stand out in the song at least.
That Get over me song with Nick Carter still haunts me at night. She usually doesn't shine in collabs, and idk why. Let me go, get over me, Listen...they all sounded like she was not even there, even Wings clipped where that guy kinda shone more that her, only that she sang first, but that's it. His verse was better.
I know it's a ModSun collab so i guess he'll sing more and have more spotlight (duh) but the FOB and Demi collab i think it's a good example. Or maybe Demi's voice it's just too powerful IDK 😂😂

I think that after all this time she has been collaborating on all these songs from her home studio. She’s also made most of HAW there, through her illness it would mean she could just get straight in to record when she felt well enough. Doesn’t have to precook a studio in advance etc. Now it seems she is well enough to be able to get back to working directly with musicians in a studio and different environment and hopefully it will be positive! Glad she must be feeling much better to be as active as well! 😊 |

I think this collab is different to the others. With the others (apart from Chad but their voices never blended anyway and LMG was the worst) she wasn't in the studio working with them. She was just asked to collab and recorded vocals on a song they wrote. She's actually working with Modsun and spent time in the studio with him to do the song, plus it's clearly earmarked as a single so I think more effort will be put into it.

She didn't say what, but i guess it's the single bc shw also used emojis that seem to be related to ModSun rather than her. I think she actually managed to make him delay his album LOL. Plus, I think his song Karma has had a kind of slow burn build up so they're giving it time rather than burying it under new stuff

^ Not so much a slow burn, at least not in a traditional way. Modsun previously dated a very popular and controversial internet celebrity in secret, Tana Mongeau, and she's recently made a video about him saying how he started yelling the lines of Karma to her after encountering her at a restaurant or something like that, heavily implying the song was written about their relationship. So yeah, the song is now getting attention because of all the drama around it.
I actually watched a podcast today where they touched upon that Tana x Modsun topic and Avril's name was randomly brought up while they were explaining who Modsun was. I couldn't care less about internet drama, but this could potentially give their collab more visibility, I guess, specially since it's supposedly coming not too long from now.

But putting normal extensions for length and then these top extensions as well...seems a bit "too much" (??) like...putting a wig is literally easier LOL. One thing is sure: her hair has been a mess since March-April. I don't know what the hell her hairstylist is doing tbh. A 12 yo girl with some straightener would do a better job at this point.   |

Avril has never been that open when it comes to show who she's working with, or at least not like she is with modsun, so If she really is into it, the song must be cool.
