It's also on TVO, which isn't a huge network either, but nonetheless, she's got something lined up for NYE and I think that's great.

Haha I’m tempted to think if she spent Christmas with not just him, but also his mom and sister, that that seems kind of like something people in a relationship would do, but who knows. I hope if they are dating, it doesn’t interfere with the album or its release in any way. Imagine if they were coming out with their albums at the same time. And also for the Flames release, I hope they don’t pull some desperate PR move to gain attention. Maybe they think these rumors will help build some hype and curiosity around their collab, like I can imagine media outlets writing about the single with some headline like “Possible lovers Avril Lavigne and ModSun team up on new song” or something. You know how the media loves to use click bait headlines like that.
On the other hand, maybe Avril just invited him to spend Christmas with her since Feldman and her other collaborators probably spent it with their own families. It appears she didn’t spend the holiday with her own family, probably due to COVID. Looks like Pete and Lauren are nowhere to be seen anymore, maybe once she moved house they got their own places? And so maybe Avril just wanted to be nice and invite him and his family so they could meet her since he’s been working with her so much. Time will tell.
