I dont know anything about ModSun or his family but I can imagine that it must be nice to spend Christmas at a millionaires house - and Avril loves to invite people. With a house that big everyone has their own room and probably bathroom, so it's not that intimate imo. So maybe they are just friends (for now....)

Nothing, I was surprised that modsun's mother, sister and friend spent Christmas at Avril's house. I thought for a moment that maybe they are more than friends. Or maybe not. Whatever it is I like their relationship  She didn’t go to Canada, most of her friends spent Christmas with their families, somebody invited her over for Thanksgiving, I think she wanted to be just nice and invite a person she spends lots of time with right now 🙂 If they are together, that’s awesome! He’s almost her age 😅 |

Wait, but ModSun spent Thanksgiving with Avril and his family while she was still 100% with Pete, so I’m bound to think it’s just a great friendship. He’s like her new Ryan Cabrera lol.
I think she’s looking for some company since she didn’t spend the holidays with her family because of Covid, so I think it’s cute she’s spending it with his family as well. And also, they don’t really strike me as a couple tbh. They genuinely seem to be good friends.
Anyways, I truly hope they’re not dating because we know what will happen with all of these songs...

We all know Avril is capable of being just friends with guys so I don't think we can read too much into this. She didn't have any family around for Christmas and we know she loves to cook and have people around her so I can understand her not wanting to spend Christmas alone. Pete and Lauren (is that her haridresser's name? I totally blanked) probably both spent the holidays with family.
I'm just excited for more studio photos and the release of Flames.

If she is still with Pete seems very odd he’d go home to his family and leave her to either be alone or spend it with a guy she hasn’t known long and his family. Dunno. Her relationships often seem a little odd to me but as long as shes happy!

I’m mostly wondering what happened to Lauren, as she seemed to not only help Avril with her hair/makeup, but other things too like social media stuff and what not. I’d think all that would be easier if she was living with her.

Why wouldn’t she spend Christmas with her family but with ModSun and his family? I read cause of COVID but then again, with his family is also a risk.... I found it a bit weird but I think I’ve never seen her celebrate Christmas with her own family tho?
Anyway... I hope we hear more news soon! January 8th is not far away everyone!!

Avril has moved from the house the quarantined at together and is busy with other things. I’d assume Lauren has family she will be spending Christmas with. |

Thanksgiving was with friends. This is the first time we have heard of mod Suns family.
Lauren is still working for her. She was followed by Nathan James, the photographer from the mod sun photoshoot.
She has been around a bunch of people since November. Right as covid cases spiked in LA. She showed us she took a test and is now wearing masks in the studio. But she really needs to be careful. Her family probably all lives abroad so they might not have wanted to deal with quarantine regulations. I understand she doesn't want to be alone in the holidays but even if mods fan is small...I hope she's careful.
Sidenote: man I'd like to work with her one day. She seems to take everyone in lol

I think the difference is that her family all seem to live in other countries. Her parents (and I think her brother) live in Canada and her sister in Japan. Travelling between countries is difficult right now and it's not like she would have hada lot of time for them since she was in the studio right before and after Christmas.
I can understand Lauren and Pete wanting to be with family. They've spent almost the whole year with Avril

So I just noticed she says ride or die in this song. Thought that was funny. I wonder since they're family and Feldman worked with them for the same album this song is from (not this song tho) that maybe they will reunite in a song. After all they also do pop rock and she's going back to that. It would be cool.
