One thing is sure: she should do more collabs. Not with artists like Nick Carter or Chad lol... Bebe Rexha, One Ok Rock, 5SOS, maybe Taylor or Billie. A pop-rock version of Jessie J's, Ariana and Nicki's Bang Bang but with Hayley Williams and Amy Lee, or with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.
I don't really understand how she never collabed with bigger artists. I'm glad she could get Nicki for DB at least. And remember how Rihanna literally ghosted her LOL xD

So I just noticed she says ride or die in this song. Thought that was funny. I wonder since they're family and Feldman worked with them for the same album this song is from (not this song tho) that maybe they will reunite in a song. After all they also do pop rock and she's going back to that. It would be cool. I love song so much.  |

Billie Eilish would be good, and said she’d be up for it if Avril asks to do it. But I doubt Billie’s label would let that happen. |

Avril doesn’t collab with artists just for the sake of doing so. She only works with artists she considers friends, or I guess in the case of Tommee and ModSun because she was asked to do it. I’m not a massive fan of collabs, I think too many artists do them nowadays. She should only do a collab if it makes sense and she really wants to do it, like Flames.

Sidenote: man I'd like to work with her one day. She seems to take everyone in lol I wouldn't take that as a good trait, to be honest. I think it's foolish to be so open and trusting with people. That is cynical me talking, though. |

It honestly would make so much sense for her to perform My World but I doubt she would do that lol The wording here is very particular, I think it just means she recorded a performance from the studio just for their show, not that it’s a specific song just for them. Knowing her she’s probably singing MHE or something.

Flames? Lead single? A song recorded especially for this event? Highly unlikely they would play Flames for the first time (which is modsun's song more than hers) at such a small event. Same for a lead single. It will be an old song because that's what suits the event. Maybe something from her first album since she's going to talk about growing up in Ontario. Maybe Sk8er Boi given how she's working with poprock/punk musicians and producers right now and seems she might be back into that style of music |

It says 'contributes a song she recorded for this special" and not "contributes a performance" or something along those lines. If it was just her singing MHE or My World or something along those lines, I would imagine it would be worded differently. No matter what though I'm excited. |

She recorded a performance, that's all. but that's the thing though, it said she recorded a song, not just recorded a performance. and idk the fact that it brings up "with two of her closest sidemen" makes it sound like it's a song. I don’t think she’d record a song specifically for this low profile event. I think they are just using the terms “song” and “performance” interchangeably. This is the Lyme concert all over again with the careful wording.
