I'm gonna sound harsh but having a full album and being ready but not dropping anything and creating false hype... that's the real clown. Mod is out here working. I agree the performance should have been done months ago but it's not bad doing it now either. It's his biggest song and having new material out around this performance is how you maintain momentum. Avril should learn something from him and release new material too after this. And if Avril did help him get this performance then I would think she would have done it a while ago so she may have nothing to do with it. Mod just signed to CAA a little while ago btw. Now that's where I do think Avril could have some influence maybe. Anyways, I understand side eyeing Mod Sun but I don't think we should drag him for working. I wish Avril could be doing half the things he's been doing lately

It’s dropping on radio. Fans really don’t have much influence on that. I mean I know people say about requesting - but it works and it doesn’t at the same time. Small radio stations care about requesting coz they want audience, bigger really go with the flow and what’s popular.

Recording a tv performance from a different location than the tv studio itself it pretty common and always was, even before pandemic 🙂 I wouldn’t take it as being unprofessional or whatever. Sometime tv studio using suitable for some reasons, some effects you need/want for your performance.



I don’t think Avril’s team arrange it. Mods really been around for a long time, he’s in an independent label but run by people from the industry. He doesn’t need her contact to get a tv performance with a song charting within top 20. Really. And if we want to go that far as two years without anything, well - we wouldn’t have AL7 if it weren’t for him.

And guys, tv performance or the lack of it - it won’t and wouldn’t help the track no matter when it happened. TV doesn’t help anymore.
