Repeat doesn't count for Youtube, but for a limited amount of times (I think until 15 or 20 times) it counts for Spotify. I don't think it counts more than this per day overall for each listener, though... Which still means the real number of plays might indeed be a bit bigger than those 494k. I mean, I listened to it more than 20 times yesterday. So...this is what I read yesterday about another artist. I don't know how much credibility this holds cause I know nothing about algorithms or that kinda of stuff. But these are kpop fans...like they are pro-streamers xD so i guess they know what they're doing (?) i seriously don't know but they take it really seriously to help their faves. Arianators do the same i think (or at least similar ways of streming idk). YOUTUBE: Important Subscribe to "X" Youtube channel. Like the videos. Don't skip ads with a duration of fewer than 30 seconds. Don't watch videos related to "X" in the first 24h uploaded by unofficial channels (Color-coded lyrics, reactions, etc). Don't download the mv in the first 24h. Avoid uploading more than 30/45 seconds of the mv on social media the first week. How to stream correctly? Quality: +480p, Volume: +50%. Like the video when it is finished or views will be frozen. Search manually the mv ["X" - "title song"]. Stream with a Youtube account, just one per device. Don't comment with the word "stream" and avoid using emojis. Pause or advance whatever video once per hour. The views are counted every 10 minutes, watch 3 different videos after you finished watching the mv. Don't use a playlist in the first 24h, the views will be counted slow. Don't use incognito mode or stream on multiple tabs. Use embedded links. Plus You can stream from your phone without being on Youtube, just activate desk mode on Google. SPOTIFY: Important Follow "X" Add the song to favorites. Share the link of the album and the track on social media to make it trend. Use official playlists of Spotify. How to avoid having bot behaviors? Don't loop the song. Don't shuffle the playlists. Volume should be more than 50%. Turn off autoplay [Home > Settings > Playback] Skip and pause some songs, it's important to interact with the playlist. Make more than three playlists with the songs that you want to stream (also when "title song" releases will be provided some playlist). The playlist should have songs of another artist that isn't "artist name" and another genre of music. So yeah....i don't really know but this is what i found. This is from last summer (2020) so....idk if anything has changed but... If all of this stuff really counts towards how the algorithms work that is absolutely insane to me. Even stuff like how loud the volume is set, interacting with other videos and such influencing how things are counted!? Wow. |

Yeah I know. it sounds crazy, but if you think about it, that's why only BTS and Blackpink have been breaking YT records. Bc their fans know all these tricks and they stream like crazy. I've read many more and sometimes they're different, like: you have to let the ads play, no AdBlock allowed, you have to watch 90% of the video for the view to be counted, don't pause the video. All kind of things... As I said, I don't really know how this works but these people break records everytime BTS releases a new song. That's actually how the fans put their name on the map. They started pretty bad and with no success, but if you go little by little you end up putting their name on the Billboard fron page and more articles and breaking records and then people start talking about them, it's like a snowball effect i guess. Other times you just need a song to go viral like Gangnam style or Despacito. But these days, unless you have a large fanbase like Taylor or the GP is willing to check that artist out, the only thing left to for the fandom is all those things. I'm not saying we should do them lol, these people are mostly teens and kids with no jobs or responsabilities, but i guess if Avril was appealing to a youn audience she could get a hit again, who knows. |

Usually I don't write here but sometimes I read what others write and now I want to say a little about new song. Well, it's definetely not the best Avril song but it's quite good. When I listened to it first time I had a feeling that I've already heard it somewhere or at least I've heard something similar. At the beggining song was just okay to me, but the more I listen to it the more I like it. To be honest I like the Mod Suns part more, Avrils part feels too poppy for me. And I love the drums in this song! I listened to Mod Suns songs "Karma" and "Bones" and I find "Flames" a little bit weaker but it's still nice to listen something with Avril on it.

The way she is promoting this track makes me feel like she is treating it as ' first dip' into AL7. She has never promoted a feature so extensively before and she seems (or her team at least) seem really interested in our reaction to the song. She NEVER asked for the fans thoughts to anything from HAW. This is definitely a first look into the vibe for her next album.
Also anyone have a sneaking suspicion that AL7 will be called " MFP " ?! Any comment that calls her the Mother Fucking Princess she reacts too and in the motorcycle Instagram video she makes quite a point to highlight the personalised MFP tag.

Yep I also think MFP will probably be the title of AL7. I'm down for it but I wish fans would stop kissing her ass with the Motherfuckin Princess crap. It's fun as a lyrics on GF but saying it all the time is cringey. But maybe that's just me.
