We might never hear her work with Skrillex or Marshmello or whoever. There's always people who collab on albums but the fans never get to hear the result because it just doesn't work out. I wouldn't expect to hear stuff from everyone she's worked with over the course of AL7 sessions

That comment Avril replied to said "i want more of this"
So i think her "lots to come" mean there's more songs with this vibe and she also said "all this year", so i guess she's talking about the album. It makes more sense

The cinematographer of the "Flames" MV reposted this to his insta stories a few hours ago. This is the same group of people, that also did the MV for "Bones". So apparently it's gonna be epic! Bring it on ππ₯  |

Wait, so is it safe to assume they've shot the MV already?
It would be lovely to have it out this Friday, but since Mod already has a huge release that day with MGK I don't see it happening.
We do however know that the team behind Mod's music videos works very hard and is able to deliver fast results. I remember Mod saying he wasn't fully happy with the MV for "Bones" so he went in to shoot a brand new scene just a few days prior to the release date and his team got everything done in record time, which is awesome.

There are some clues (insta stories) that indicate that they are in the middle of shooting it, they started a few days ago. |

Well if you think about it, that's how the commercial and advertisement world works. You shoot it and it has to be ready for now, not tomorrow. My film teacher told they work fast as hell. With music video it's obviously different, and up until now things were different, there wasn't this stress of releasing it fast. Almost every single she's done in the past took like a month to get the music video, all the artists were doing the same. But in these times, visuals play a very important role. let's be honest, a major part of Look what you made me do's success was becase of the music video. Artist should know already the importance of releasing the music video at the same time as the song. I'm sorry for being a broken record but that's what kpop artists do and it DOES work. I hope they'll learn the lesson some day. |

I wonder if they have hired Marshallow to remix Flames (or one of Avrils AL7 tracks) to make it go worldwide... knowing that a radio friendly club banger set to a 120 bpm will be better received by the general public than a pop punk song.
