That comment Avril replied to said "i want more of this" So i think her "lots to come" mean there's more songs with this vibe and she also said "all this year", so i guess she's talking about the album. It makes more sense Definitely π Fingers crossed! |

Wait, so is it safe to assume they've shot the MV already? It would be lovely to have it out this Friday, but since Mod already has a huge release that day with MGK I don't see it happening. We do however know that the team behind Mod's music videos works very hard and is able to deliver fast results. I remember Mod saying he wasn't fully happy with the MV for "Bones" so he went in to shoot a brand new scene just a few days prior to the release date and his team got everything done in record time, which is awesome. Probably because theyβre not best friends and hairdressers? ππππ according to other people posts of this team, the video was shot on the holidays and it is a follow up of Bones |

I wonder if they have hired Marshallow to remix Flames (or one of Avrils AL7 tracks) to make it go worldwide... knowing that a radio friendly club banger set to a 120 bpm will be better received by the general public than a pop punk song. This whole time I've been thinking that Marshemello was called to do a pop remix for the song. The music video will be released next Friday together with the remixed version. Or just wishful thinking.  |

Iβve learned not to get too excited about MV when it comes to Avril after getting WAW and the poorly greenscreened (or with poor track motion) HAW music video. Even the TMIO video was pretty bad. But maybe now that itβs not her own and ModSun seems to be more into cinematic types of videos, I think we can expect something pretty decent from this.
They shouldnβt sit too long on this. They have to take advantage of the buzz the song has right now and release it next week at most. Those are the only chances the video will have some kind of viral impact.

Last I looked Flames fell down on the iTunes alternative chart to #18 and out of the top 100 all genre. Yep theyβve fallen out the top 100 iTunes in the UK but are at 87 on the Alternative chart. Flames actually made a high of 27 on the all genre chart in the UK which is good considering she has next to none exposure here. I think it has done better than Dumb Blonde and Devil. Hopefully the music video gets it back up there. If only radio would play her. I still canβt believe she has not been played on radio here since What The Hell. |

Theyβre shooting the music video tomorrow. Means weβll have to wait maybe till late January for it. I think itβs too much waiting since the song has been out for 4 days now...but at least were getting a MV.

LOVE those shots! She's killing it with the activity and the interaction with fans lately. I wouldn't believe you just a year ago if you told me we'd ever see Avril behave this way. It's really fucking awesome. Also yep, she confirmed in her replies that they're shooting the MV for Flames tomorrow. It's a shame the video hasn't been shot yet (as it was speculated here), but oh well, at least we're getting a video. I'm excited to see the instagram stories for sure, I hope they tease us a little  |

Maybe they will release the video and modsun's film on the same day. I hope that she/her team won't take this long to release the music video for her official single. There are a couple of things they still need to learn but they've improved a lot I must say.
