I hope they'll do an acoustic version as well. Flames could easily turn into a beautiful acoustic ballad. It definitely has the dramatic and kinda sad-nostaligc melody to it.

I think that seems to be the norm these days is releasing a gazillion different versions of the same song to increase streams.
For example, Dan + Shay released a few different versions of "10,000 Hours," including an acoustic version. Taylor put out several remixes of "willow," including a more dance-oriented remix, a more stripped down remix, and then a remix that was sort of a combo of both? It's totally possible Marshmellow may do a pop remix of Flames, then maybe they'll put out an acoustic version.

I'm surprised they haven't done an acoustic performance at her house. It's a nice setting. It could be high quality. Very easy to do. Perhaps after the music video.

Edit: nevermind i could be 100% wrong and it's just the hoodie which makes it look like that. I need answers tho. xD
Edit 2.0: i am really NOT sure hahaha. It could just be some strands of her hair which are a bit of a darker shade of blonde but it does look like she's wearing them, at least in that video. It's just cringy how excited I get about hair I'M SORRY πππ

Itβs supposed to be a powerful track and dropping a stripped down version 4 days after its release wonβt help to build this powerful image. If anything, I think they gonna go for a remix, not necessarily with somebody very famous but stripping down the song usually works for tracks which are already promoted and need an extra boost.
