You all talk about UMS vibes but to me she looks like the beggining of AL era, during the time of the photoshoots for HTNGU and RnR but with black hair. The long hair, heavy dark make up...
She looks gorgeous, of course. Loving all the promo!

This picture looks like it was shot during the UMS era 😍 If you would've told me a year ago that we'd get pictures and vibes like that from Avril... 🤯 I honestly haven't been this excited (as a fan) since the release of UMS!  On one hand, this picture gives me My Happy Ending vibe or totally copy from it lol, which I'm excited cause MHE is irony, maybe Flames's as well. On the other hand, it's kind sad she can only milk the benefit from beginning of her career. Like come on, when she is gonna have a new sucess where she can reference about |

Yes, it's very likely he's follow Karma/Bones tradition and he will post a very shirt snippet of the video today. But honestly the wait is not long and exhausting and for the very first time I want to see the video without any snippet not to ruin the experience!  |

wow, the few days I couldn't come here, and I already almost miss out on such an important announcement! Extremely cool attire (love the platformed boots!), and a very interesting location (thankfully no green-screen in sight!), I'm almost sure it's going to be an awesome MV!

I guess it’s the same with Mod. Plus, it seems like Flames is building up to be his most successful song, since he keeps posting about how it’s breaking records compared to his previous songs. |

I hope that she will keep all this momentum up when it comes time to release her own music and not just for the duration of Flames/working with ModSun. I'm happy the video was able to get shot and edited in about a week, but let's remember this is ModSun's song and video technically, not hers, and he did it with his team, not hers. When it comes time for her to make a video for her own single, who knows what team she'll be working with. This. I feel it's important to keep in mind that this is Mod Sun's release and team so it might not be indicative of what eventually ends up happening when the time comes for her own releases. Though I do see this experience influencing her and she'll probably continue to work with the same people. I have a feeling Avril might stay in the same circle for her new album. We already know John Feldman is heavily involved and she was also at Travis Barker's studio that one time. We also know she's chosen to work with MGK's stylist. The guy who took these latest pics on the set of 'Flames' was also hired by Avril to capture her studio sessions with MGK and Modsun -- I really like his work, btw, I think her previous photographer during HAW was this girl named Ashley and her pics were alright, but not quite on the same level imo. So yeah, above all I just really hope whoever she works with can push & inspire her to stay on top of her game. We don't need any more people enabling her "bare minimum" mindset. Please let that stay forever in the depths of 2020. I'm pretty sure she'll just keep working with these exact same people over the next month(s) for her own album. Though I do hope she manages to create something that's authentically hers and doesn't feel like an average pop-punk group soup. Otherwise you end up with the "yes men" of a different genre. 
As for the pictures of the video: she looks great! Though is it just me or has the band with their instruments and amps in some kind of abandoned building thing been way overdone? Looks kind of generic to me. I guess the environment does easily allow for some pyrotechnics so that might indeed be what will happen. Though I also remember seeing stuff like that in the past? We'll see. Cool that it's out tomorrow already! Don't really see the point of a snippet then (given the song isn't the longest either).
