So cool to see the song reaching new peaks. I'm genuinely happy for the both of them. I'm hyped for Mod's album too btw. I've definitely become a fan and I'm interested in following his career closely now, dude has some real talent and I love his drive, artistic vision, conceptual mind and passion for everything he does. I also particularly love how grateful he is -- makes it really easy to want to root for him and celebrate his success.

I definitely agree that he's the best kind of influence Avril could have on a professional & artistic level and I'm inclined to believe he's at least partly responsible for the way she's improved her social media skills lately. He seems like a genuinely nice guy too on a personal level, so I'm happy to see they've bonded and are spending time together outside of the studio. Whether they're dating or not, it's up to them. I've never cared much about Avril's dating life, tho admittedly some of the memes the fandom has made about it are incredibly amusing. I do sense a spark there, but it could just be a close friendship.

I'm feeling really positive about what's to come for Avril. Keeping my fingers crossed that we get some news relatively s**n and that she doesn't disappear now that Flames is out and the MV has been released.

I honestly don't think Avril is dating Modsun, I think there is real and deep respect between them. He seems truly honored to have worked with her. Yes, I agree artistically he can be a really positive influence for her. I see Avril much more active on social media. Maybe she's starting to understand that today artists take care of their social profiles down to the smallest detail in order to consolidate the relationship with their fans maintain contact interact with them and make them participate in their lives, with constant updates on new releases, concerts, etc.

Another thing that really surprised me positively is that this song is receiving a lot of benevolent feedback everywhere. If you look on Youtube there are endless reactions of people who speak just positively. Even people who aren't fans of the genre. They all keep saying: "Avril is getting back her pop rock punk roots". I don't know which direction Avril will take with AL7, but if she decides to go back to making a pop/rock/punk album, I think she will do "bingo!"

I hope that all the comments about Avril returning to her roots (even Brody said that) and people genuinely excited to see her going in this direction affirms for her that she is doing the right thing and that this is what people have wanted to see and hear from her for a long time. That she suddenly won’t change her mind and scrap everything in favor of pop hits again. For the longest time she might have felt unsure about where she fit in in today’s pop scene and was getting mixed messages about what fans wanted from her. Now it is crystal clear what fans want and for once her vision aligns with it.

I have liked the 3 songs I’ve heard so far from Mod, I may just have to check out the full album when it drops. I hope the rest is as good as these songs.
