Maybe but I would think that after teasing it so much that it would be live not just a studio acoustic version. Perhaps even a video of them singing it. Or maybe he will wait for his visual project to do that.
And yes hopefully AL7 first single next but what if instead we get them performing this song live on tv shows. To drag it out even more.

Well. Hope next is # AL7's first single. But something tells me that after this video she will disappear for another month as happened with the Yungblud acoustic. Hopefully we will have new music in May at the latest.

Yes! It's finally official! "Flames" acoustic on Friday! I just hope they actually re-recorded their vocals. But tbh, I'm trying not to expect too much.... Either way, at least we'll have new content. It's been pretty quiet around Avril lately and my hype for AL7 has pretty much died down again (why does she always have to do that??  ) |

Tbh I’m not expecting a video or live performance. I’m thinking it’s a studio recording, my hope is that they put effort into actually re-recording the vocals like a proper acoustic version and not those lame versions she did for GL where all they did was change the instruments. That would be infuriating if they kept us waiting for weeks/months and it wasn’t even done properly.
A video or live performance would be a nice bonus but I think it’s just the track. At least it’s finally coming now! I’m actually curious to see what it sounds like and well, there isn’t a lot to get excited about these days, so for me it’s something nice to look forward to and keep thinking “ok Friday new song from Avril!” (even if it’s just an acoustic version). I work from home alone all day so I like having something to look forward to and something to make the days feel different.

I’m so sick of the song LOL and I couldn’t care less about the acoustic version. If it’s anything like Avril’s “acoustics version”s, it’ll just be the same vocal tracks over acoustics instrumentation, woopdedoo..!🤣
