I'm a little shocked by this cover... Well, you all saw it. They just gave us a remade original and now it just looks like a fan knockoff. I thought they would use some unused photo from the same photo shoot. Now I will hope for a good stuffing. I really hope that there will be something that we have not yet heard from the list of unreleased songs that are on this forum. Maybe I'm dreaming and want too much?😆

Guys, the cover is tragic. I mean, how can you reserve a treatment like that for such an ICONIC cover? I mean this is zero effort. I also think she doesn't really own masters and rights to her first album and I don't think this is her fault at all. She served so many cool photoshoots - even just as instagram posts and not album related - so I'm a 100% convinced that this is not her mind.
At least I hope so.
Damn, I was waiting so impatiently for a great vinyl cover for the 20th Anniversary. Crying.
EDIT: Also, it's so disappointing that it'll come out that late. BTW, just read about the Gayle rumored feature track. I would love a celebration of Let Go with big features on all the 13 songs. Would be dope. Dreaming is dope too

the cover is so ugly, I'm sorry 😠when I saw someone's tweet of the cover I literally thought it was a joke lmao. I also hope that it was not Avril's idea, she would definitely come up with something a lot better considering the amount of single/album cover serves the LS era gave us. but I'm also happy that the anniversary edition is being released at all, so there's that:)

I could sort of understand if it wasn’t possible to remake the cover (like taking a new photo) since it’s unclear what Avril’s involvement is in this if Sony still owns the rights but she’s no longer under Sony. But they definitely could have made something better than just sticking a red background on it. An unused photo would be cool, but unrecognizable to the general public and probably wouldn’t sell. I don’t think it’s typical for anniversary albums to use a completely different photo. But even just an outtake from the same shoot or maybe just putting the red star logo on it would have been enough to make it different without destroying the original cover. I hope it really is just a placeholder.
