Well I expected it. We still have no news about it and it’s just few days ahead. Probably the re-edition has a DVD with the documentary for the 20th anniversary and she’s filming it right now with footages from the tour and that’s why it can’t be ready now They'll shoot dozens of hours of footage and release the 20th Anniversary Edition out of sync with the actual anniversary and in the end I predict they will use less than a minute from the Bite Me tour in any accompanying documentary. EVERYTHING else could have been (and may have been) shot before Avril started touring. I'm late to this game so it doesn't affect me one way or another but it would have been nice for long time Avril fans to get a well timed Let Go 20th Anniversary Edition release. |

I wanted it to release on 4th June 2022 because that's what all artists do.I'm a bit disappointed.All that excitement and...ugh.

Maybe it’ll be released around her birthday? I don’t know about a DVD, I don’t think physical DVDs really get made any more due to less demand and costs/materials. I know they still get made for movies (like the new Jackass film for example, or I just bought Emily in Paris on DVD even though it’s on Netflix), but for something like this I don’t think it’s common anymore. They could easily put it on YouTube with an extended cut on YouTube Premium so they could still make some $$$, or put it on another streaming site. But in any case, it’s totally possible they want to use tour footage or film the concert spliced with some BTS stuff and that’s why it isn’t ready for a June release.

I don't think it's a big deal if its not on the actual album release date. The LG era is basically from Complicated to the end of the TTSMU tour. Anytime this year is the anniversary year and doing a re-release mid tour is probably a bad idea. Later in the year she has more free time to focus on it

Are they trying to spice up a classic? Bring it back to life in the pop scene nowadays? A bit weird.
