They’re both talented in different things so saying one is more talented than the other doesn’t make sense. Avril is known for her voice, Taylor for her songwriting. Nobody is saying Taylor is a better vocalist than Avril, and nobody can say Avril is a better songwriter than Taylor. Doesn’t make any sense to compare their talents when their talent is in two different things. I just think it’s nice they get on and obviously respect eachother - Avril hasn’t always had so many friends in the industry, especially female ones, and it’s nice to see. I agree, and Taylor also sent flowers to Avril when Love Sux came out which was nice. Avril has also praised Taylor a lot.Avril praised the Folklore album in 2020. |

Lol, I only just found out about "Shut Up" l**king.  I find the song to be pretty bland tbh. It sounds like something a musically rather inexperienced 14-year-old might write. Quite generic, quite repetitive. Lame, childish lyrics. And Avril's vocal performance also gives me the feeling that she might have been aware of the fact that this was far from her best work. She just sounds... idk, almost indifferent, I guess. Her performance simply doesn't really make me feel anything. It's just ... there. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the song. I just think it's very meh. I can totally see why it got scrapped. |

Shut Up isn’t my favourite leak for all the reasons you guys stated ,but here are the good things about it that I wanna mention:
- The rhyme “Was nice to know ya but I don’t owe ya” was smoothly delivered to me and empowering, also “You were my best friend now you’re my enemy. You’re like a vampire the way you suck my energy..” was great melodically and lyrically (relatable in friendships and all kinds of relationships)
- The intro melody in the instrumental was great
Definitely get why this one didn’t make the album though, it’s definitely giving bside

I feel like "Shut Up" was slowed down. I notice it everytime I hear the first verse. There's something off about it.

Shut Up isn’t my favourite leak for all the reasons you guys stated ,but here are the good things about it that I wanna mention: - The rhyme “Was nice to know ya but I don’t owe ya” was smoothly delivered to me and empowering, also “You were my best friend now you’re my enemy. You’re like a vampire the way you suck my energy..” was great melodically and lyrically (relatable in friendships and all kinds of relationships) - The intro melody in the instrumental was great Definitely get why this one didn’t make the album though, it’s definitely giving bside Similarly, I totally get why "Fall Into the Sky" didn't make Under My Skin but the guitar riff in it is still fire and unique for an Avril song! (Daydream should've and still should be released though I'll DIE on that hill) |

I need a Daydream single release for UMS 20th anniversary. I don't think it'll happen because the song was given to Miranda Cosgrove. Avril will just re-record it just like Breakaway. Yeah and it’ll need to be released somehow and they definitely won’t do a 20th anniversary edition of the full album… hence… a single release lol. |

Her label initially allowed her to put out a lead single written only by her and her friend about standing up for yourself if you decide not to consent to things. and then before you know it she was forced to basically do a writing camp with Max Martin and Shellbach and write party songs for the lead or they wouldn’t release her record. Like imagine how frustrating that must have been. |

I think her old material is not out there, sadly, ironically those are the ones that can't really hurt her if they end up leaking She definitely has a security breach since last era, and for now on we'll probably get tons of unreleaseds from the following albums. The Chavril duet is the real mistery of how the fuck people had it. Imagine if it was a guest from the wedding who shared the song tho 😂 |
