Besides Teenage nightmare and too fast to live, I think it’s safe to assume there won’t be any more leaks for a long time and especially from the next album. its internet and all fans know about leaks, nothing secret here. Only fans care about these leaks at all, so it is not an exuse to keep that "secret" it is the same secret as avril's extensions lol Avril make music mostly for her fans audience, cause other ppl dont care. So it is logical to give fans more music and they will stream and buy it more. why she is making things so complicated? her music choices and final tracklists with last minute changing lyrics or tittle is her own style. idk the whole idea of not making music to fans is bad, she don't care, we care but we will never get what we want this is the whole moral of being LBS |

I’ll never understand why fans think artists purposely leak songs. She could create just as much, if not more, buzz by releasing them officially, thereby getting more streams and $$$. There’s no limit to how many songs they can put out. They could have put out a whole other album made up of just the B-sides. I would have loved to see something like Love Sux Vol 2.: The Outtakes. By leaking them, now Avril doesn’t get those streams or money. I think they just don’t have very good security at DTA since it’s a small label. Same thing happened with so many HAW outtakes getting leaked. Yet some of her records done under bigger labels like RCA or Epic have had very few B-sides leak thus far. Check out this article. Not saying it’s the case for every leak, but especially considering the timing that we got all those HAW leaks earlier this year, there is an argument for it. www.factmag.com/2015/01/29/inside-album-leaks-bjork-vulnicura-madonna-rebel-heart/Fans get a sense of knowing something exclusive that the rest of the artist’s audience don’t. This thread is a perfect example of that. And at the end of the day, sure some of the choruses are catchy (ie Joker) but can you objectively sit back and listen to these songs and say the world is missing out on masterpieces, or are we thinking that because it’s something we don’t have? I personally think these songs are alright, but can also see why they wouldn’t want them officially used. I’ve said it about Taylor before in another thread: it’s cool how much music she releases, but a lot of it is redundant or not all that good. She just seems more genuine about song writing. For LS outtakes, songs like Shut Up or Eternally aren’t bad, but there isn’t much of a wow factor to them outside of them not being officially released. Shut Up could easily have been on a Veronica’s or Aly and Aj album. u just dont like all leaked songs ahah thats the point. If there a really good song, why not to release it officially? I may get more streams on album than other DTLM or smth else tracks. Avril is not a good choice maked, no one control her choice even Travis, she wanted to make double album but believing avril - is just being clowned lol Im happy that we have these songs no matter what quality, otherwise we would not have them at all. But it is stupid to have unreleased masterpieces and not make them be official and get some money from it so avril and her team are just dumb blondes, or we don't know all the truth at all and will never knew. |

I do have something to admit: I’m listening to Joker again for the first time in a while, and the chorus is such a banger. So I do see the demand, lol. It's a bit grower. It's a great song. 🙃 |

Joker's my favorite unreleased from LS. Though I love both Deja Vu and FU, they're pretty similar so I think one of them could've been replaced with Joker.

On the flip side, you think they’re masterpieces. But it doesn’t mean they are. I’ve backed my argument on various posts as to why I don’t think they’re worthy of release, but I’ve yet to hear any arguments as to why they are so great and how they’d bring something to the album that isn’t already there. It’s a bit dramatic to call these “masterpieces”. |

It’s actually the only song I’ve probably only listened to once since the album came out. I just find it one of her weakest ballads she has released. I’m a mess would fit better in its place. |
