The only leaked songs I might have included on an album (i.e., they're good enough) are Let's Get Weird (not that good but roughly the same level as album songs) and the Lauren Christy songs (I REALLY love those). I Want What I Want sounds like something from LG era, ahhh the nostalgia, and Break It So Good as a genre is like a match made in heaven for Avril.
Oh and, of course - That Kinda Guy! What a masterpiece! It just doesn't get better than this!

TFTL is probably the best of the leaks imo but doesn't fit LS. KMLTWIE is the token falling in love song. That's probably why it wasn't used

OMG I love it! Beautiful song! Thank to people we can finally listen to this. Scared it was gonna get lost forever. She should have put it at least on the Deluxe and is definitely better than half of the songs in the standard edition. I even think it could have been a perfect first single. Is that good. I must be in the minority here because I don’t really think much of this song tbh It sounds like a lot of her other songs lyrically and thematically. It’s quite repetitive, pretty juvenile lyrics that sound like something a teen would write, which I guess is the point, but I’m rather over these kind of lyrics from a near-40-year-old woman and I myself am almost 30. I just don’t relate to these kinds of lyrics anymore.
For me the song melodically is nothing special either. A rather forgettable track IMO. I’m glad it didn’t make the deluxe because I don’t think it’s anything particularly special, at least on a first quick listen. And I don’t think it made the album because it doesn’t really fit the theme at all or sound like the rest of the album.

Too Fast To Live is a good generic upbeat soundtrack song. Avril should make it available for that purpose. She'll make some $$$ and won't have to worry about packaging it up herself.

Agree with this. “The neighbours called the cops blah blah blah blah we don’t give a fuck” yawn lol we’ve heard all this before with Bitchin Summer. It’s like a mix of 17 and BS lyrically and for me, 17 is the only one of the 3 songs we need. |
