I don't think the title of the song is only TOO FAST TO LIVE. Maybe they're lazy or the song title was taking up much space when they wrote it on the board. I really think that TOO FAST TO LIVE, TOO YOUNG TO DIE is the real title of the song. These two sentences were related to punk. If you search it online, it's not only "Too Fast To live" but also "Too Young To Die" will appear right next to it.

He even listed "Retrograde" in which that time is a song title that was unknown to us. Maybe only selected LS songs were leaked to public. |

I must be in the minority here because I don’t really think much of this song tbh It sounds like a lot of her other songs lyrically and thematically. It’s quite repetitive, pretty juvenile lyrics that sound like something a teen would write, which I guess is the point, but I’m rather over these kind of lyrics from a near-40-year-old woman and I myself am almost 30. I just don’t relate to these kinds of lyrics anymore. For me the song melodically is nothing special either. A rather forgettable track IMO. I’m glad it didn’t make the deluxe because I don’t think it’s anything particularly special, at least on a first quick listen. And I don’t think it made the album because it doesn’t really fit the theme at all or sound like the rest of the album. It’s like a mix of 17 and BS lyrically and for me, 17 is the only one of the 3 songs we need. Not so much the lyrics per se, I'm with Bogo on this one - please let me sleep in peace lmao - but the punchiness of the song is pretty infectious and the chorus is undeniably catchy. I also really liked that "wait, hold up, stop!" interjection in the second verse, that was cute. It kinda broke the 4th wall in a way that felt new coming from her, which I appreciate. Definitely a very anthemic song. I could actually see this song doing quite well if it were to be released and promoted. |

It’s a cute song but I agree that the lyrics sound too juvenile.
I don’t know if it’s just me but this feels like it could’ve been one of those 2 minute songs easily and feels maybe too long.

TFTL is probably the best of the leaks imo but doesn't fit LS. KMLTWIE is the token falling in love song. That's probably why it wasn't used Retrograde doesn't fit it either, there's nothing about love, girlfriends or boyfriends (besides of the part where she's giving a warning to her bf not to come over because she might be rude, but she blames it on the moon. It's about bad luck and weird things happening during Mercury's retrograde.
Many people dont know about Mercury's retrograde, this is probably why title got changed. It didn't know it either so I just found explanation in google.

Where are the pictures in the background of the video of TFTL from?
It's a cute song but I dont get how she can go into a studio for her new album and basically steal her own lyrics from AL. Like does she really know only 3 different words...? The lyrics are sooo weak this era and hearing this it comes across rather lazy cause like others already pointed out: this is 17,Bitchin Summmer and HTNGU.
I like the production and then anthem-y vibe though. With different lyrics this could have been a great bonus song or maybe Mod Sun feature.

I agree, repetive, juvenile, doesn't sound like the rest of the album, etc. I'm glad to have heard it and I'll be hearing a few more times cause it's fun and a different kind of pop punk than her style but I'm also glad that it didn't make the album 😅 Mod obviously wrote it and it takes us back to her iM A rOCkstar and I'll fUcK Shit uP for no reason days. LS was juvenile enough.

I like how the word “juvenile” gets thrown around to describe the LS album, as if fast guitars and aggressive lyrics after the age of 30 make somebody’s feelings invalidated.
Too Fast to Live is juvenile based off the subject matter, not the style of music. The Love Sux album isn’t juvenile just because most of the songs are about being done wrong by somebody 🙄
