I know it's insane but maybe that will be the only way of a real review impact her. She's surrounded by "yes-people". She thinks she's awesome on stage and she's 100% sure that she's giving everything her fans want. I don't think she reads what press says about her tho Her team probably only picks up the good ones But if she don't get it together, any day she can go viral for the wrong reasons and then will be impossible to not see it I kinda hate it but maybe that needs to happen. To get the point across? Idk I never seen her live so like I got no idea |

No one is talking about her low energy outside of us and we keep most of it here. In order for her to get bad press is if people mention it on Twitter. But everyone that goes to see her even non fans praise her or put up videos and don't comment on her low energy.
Also, when you go to her shows you don't notice it as much because you had fun being at a concert.

Europe press is kinda harsh when they go hard on someone |

I absolutely love „Love Sux“ and that she just continues where she stopped after TBDT, also that although the LS era already ended it seems she keeps the cool punk-rock style, it‘s such a cool mix of UMS and TBDT era.
She always was rather shy and kind of bored/lazy on stage, I remember for example Rock am Ring 2004… starting with TBDT era she suddenly was extremely active on stage but back then I absolutely hated it because of the back dancers and choreographies. Also I wasn‘t such a big fan of GL era style and music wise BUT when I now watch performances of WTH I‘m surprised how great she performed. I wish she would‘ve kept that exact energy.
And I know she could easily pull it off - first Bite Me TV performance was perfection! also on most of the EU tour dates she was performing quite good. But for some odd reason most of the time she is really bored and lazy on stage nowadays…

I can’t say I have that song memorized as I’ve never liked ATL but I’ve at least heard it before and know the hook. It’s a bit embarrassing that Avril is literally in the pop punk scene and is friends with them but doesn’t know that song even well enough to dance around or get the crowd hyped up for it. I understand when that song came out in 2006 or whatever she was probably focusing on her own music, but surely by now she’d have heard it before? How are you friends with the band and not know that song?
Press reviews aren’t going to do anything. I doubt she reads them or her team only shows her the positive reviews. She once read a review of her show from around UMS era I think and it was a negative review so after that she said she never read them again. I don’t expect her to ever really change anything until fans stop coming to her shows honestly. As long as shes still selling tickets for playing the same setlist, she’s not going to think she needs to change something because it clearly still sells and puts butts in seats.
It’s hilarious to me how she asked fans what they wanted to hear for this show as if it was like an hour long set, all it was was 4 songs, 1 of them a cover we’ve heard a bunch since 2005, and 2 of her usual singles lol

She seems so out of touch. It's hilariously sad. I really think she's there for the paycheck in specific for this appearance. But I do believe she enjoys touring just not working. Which is odd since I've heard touring is lonely for most people. She likes having friends around but from the videos I've seen she relies so much on them. I can believe she doesn't know the lyrics but it's so awkward when even the producer below was singing along and everyone seemed to have a good time. They seemed the loudest for that song too 💀 Why didn't they perform something she knew like another cover? She must like other pop punk songs than just ATST. FAH wasn't that bad but I think she should stop screaming so much and do less aggressive songs. So unrelated to this scene but something like her favorite song Meant To Be by Bebe Rexha is more her style for the performances she's been giving lately.
IMO she will shrug off any criticism and I bet she gets told that was a fun show when she gets off stage then they take their shots and everyone shrugs off how apathetic she is on stage. The hilarious part for me was when she yells to the crowd to get fucking rowdy or loud but she fails at it.
