No one is talking about her low energy outside of us and we keep most of it here. In order for her to get bad press is if people mention it on Twitter. But everyone that goes to see her even non fans praise her or put up videos and don't comment on her low energy. Also, when you go to her shows you don't notice it as much because you had fun being at a concert. There actually is a recognizable amount of bad comments on YouTube about her energy/show in german from casual ppl that went to the shows this year I meant on Twitter where people can share it. The YouTube comments are going to stay in that fanmade live video. |

Everyone watch this concert, please:
This was the first time I saw her live since 2005. It was so shocking and sad to me. She seemed SO out of touch. The reviews were terrible by the local press. Fans got so scared for her performance in Rock In Rio that they sent A LOT of messages and comments for every single person related to her - Mod, her manager, band members, even Lauren. Especially cause the show was about to be broadcasted online worldwide.

oh yes she nailed that FAH performance!! also loving the song, I think it‘s cool
and her look is just so cool, so very UMS!! but I blame the boots that she can‘t jump or run around properly, but at least she tried and it was way better than the club show

She has to focus less on how to look badass in concert pictures and focus more on her stage presence.
She cant move in those boots, she is always playing with her hair and try to get it out of her face, she is doing all those faces and gestures to look good in pictures.
But well, we have been complaining for a decade. It wont change and sometimes we will be lucky to get some good concerts (like her european shows which were better than other tour legs).

It’s always soothing to see a bit of OG-style Avril after all those dreadful looks at PFW which look so out of character. A much needed breath of fresh (old school) air. She always comes back home in that sense. Her FAH performance from yesterday was MUCH better! Her high notes at the end were super on point and she was feeling it by the end. She seems to be having a nice time at ! |

At least her surprise appearance there was way better than the club show, energy wise and vocally (I’m pleasantly surprised she went for the high notes considering she usually dodges them). She really nailed it!
I think it’s gotta be a difference of club environment with backing tracks vs arena with full band. I don’t think it excuses her lack of energy/stage presence, since I think if she’s not into the smaller venues or using tracks then she either shouldn’t take those gigs or if she does, then she should put the effort in to at least pretend like shes into it, but it does explain it I think.
Btw on the posts from the WWWY account she’s getting a lot of hate for canceling her last show last year. A lot of people not happy she canceled last year at the last minute with no explanation.
Also apparently Tony Hawk was there and they took a pic together.

I know we joke about her being a vampire but I’m always so astounded every time I see pics of her that look like they could be straight out of 2005-2007, like she really looks so much like TBDT era Avril here. |

It’s weird how she looks so different one day to the next lol. She does look like shes lost weight though? Unless it’s just she was wearing unflattering stuff before (though it’s most noticeable in her face to me). If she has she’s lost it quickly - hope she’s ok
But yeah, everything - the hair/makeup/clothing - is very late UMS into early TBDT era! It suits her so much more than the massive multi coloured hair and ugly skirts lol

She can do it when she wants to, so why does someone who apparently loves touring/performing only want to like, 20% of the time?! I don’t expect anyone to be at the top of their game all the time but she’s off way more than she’s on. |
