You just can't have your own producer writing a diss track about you with your ex, who'm you ended things in a really bad way. In the end he did pick a side. He wasn't even involved on strangers. No one knows what goes on in their personal lives, but professionaly he sticked with Avril. Is just a fact

Yes! Many theories on this fanbase  just like Avril supposedly reworking on HAW because of her love breakup with J. Roten. Well I mean part of that’s gotta be true I mean IFILWTD and Dumb blonde were definitely not written in the album for 2017 It still doen't mean that the whole album was done during their relationship and that she posponed the release or reworked on it due their breakup. Back in may, 2018, she posted one photo with Mitch Allan announcing the last week of the album production. She only drop the first single in september and the album release was in february, 2019. that's why I think we're not gonna have AL8 this year. She'll probably give a ton of interviews saying how excited she's to perform the new songs and how inspired she's during the writing process. We've seen this all before. |

And it’s not just professionally I think Mod and John haven’t been seen together or posted anything since what April when he was at Mod’s show? Avril and John have been seen together literally working and hanging out together numerous times so yes from what I can tell they did pick a side. And in my eyes that’s kinda immature of Mod I don't really know who wanted to end the contract, Feldy or Modsun, but they did the right thing. There's no way to handle this without picking a side to be with. He's not just a producer but also a songwriter. It's not realistic to have him on both of their albums, potentially sharing their thoughts about what happened. We will know if he will be involved on any Avril track directly related to this situation or not, but my guess is that he won't be a part of it (if there is a song about that) either. If he is well, then there's no way to deny that he did pick a side all the way through. |

Yeah but like there’s a lot more that goes into it with release dates and promo BMG probably told her when to release the album or a good timeframe or something I'm not a big believer in the idea of Lyme being a major impediment to her career these days, but according to the open letter she posted at the release of HAW single, her health was the main reason for things going slower that time. She wasn't even sure if she would be able to do shows or anything like that. Nowadays, we see Avril dealing with her health in a different way and many other things could be better on stage, if Lyme the real problem today. |

But everything you’re both saying is purely an assumption. At the end of the day, we don’t know the reason why Mod decided to part ways, it could have had absolutely nothing to do with Avril for all we know.
If anyone’s “immature,” I’m not sure how it’s Mod considering he just decided to leave if he felt that was the right decision for him personally. “Picking a side” in an adult relationship Feldmann’s not part of feels more immature than simply cutting ties with a company.
Taylor Swift parted ways with Big Machine once her contract was up, not because she hated Scott or anything, but she wanted an opportunity he wasn’t willing to give her. Before the masters drama, she left on good terms and wished him nothing but the best. You can leave a company for multiple reasons and not necessarily have any bad blood with anyone there, it literally happens all the time with lots of artists. Artists have to do what’s in their best interest, regardless of the relationship they might have with their current team. We don’t know at all why Mod decided to leave, maybe he just wanted a different opportunity. Maybe Avril was the cause, maybe not. Point is, we don’t know.
