Another option could be anniversary Tours. For example if she toured in 2027 "TBDT 20th anniversary tour" or Let Go "25th anniversary tour". My god you wrote 20th anniversary TBDT and in my head I just can’t accept it. Although this year it will turn 17, which is so close to 20. It’s a very strange feeling that it seems like it couldn’t have been that long ago. Although I only turned 4 that year. When Avril is silent she is working on something... She simply revealed the GH tour and combined with Pop Punk friends. And no one expected it.
I feel that in addition to the GH Tour (which is a golden move for marketing, the media is talking about) there is something more coming...
It's obvious she wants to do something, I just can't tell it's about AL8...

Bro i got 2 ads on youtube today for GH tour and i was just causally watching wasnt even Avril related (i was watcjing Game Grumps and New Heights) an i just get an ad for the tour. Everyone is talkign about it and its close to selling out I do think something more is coming too I think something else that is col is its only 5 months away so we dont have to wait htat logn and people wont forget, id o think shell drop a single or something between now and May 22nd |

Only thing is if she wants to continue touring in the years to come, what would she call the tour. She cant just keep calling it the GH tour so apart from naming it after her latest album or single then what would she do? Idk but I think legacy acts that have been touring for decades like Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Queen, etc. just call it “Queen on Tour,” “Elton in Concert,” whatever, I could be wrong, idk (and yes I know Elton was on his “farewell tour” for years lol). They could just call it “Avril Lavigne on Tour” or “Avril Live” or something. Althought an anniversary tour of a specific album would be so much more insteresting, I actually prefer the title this way for her new tour. It's way more honest in therms of presenting the real setlist of the concert. Only singles. I still have hope for small private concerts focused on never sang songs or something like that. Maybe one day in a far future. |

I dont think so that was scrapped. I personally think she need to get back to Spotlight little bit and when people “forgot” she still doing music or they relate on her nostalgia music this is good move to remind them that she is still here and she always did Album then Tour but now I think they change things like switched it lets do GH tour and then release new album for more attention she still have couple of things What she can do before tour like UMS20, Documentary and then close to tour starts release new single or maybe new single and then UMS and documentary then have tour promote old music and new single with reminding people new album its on the way and release it when tour is done. Next year she can do another tour if she will want but she basically will have tour 2 years in a row (Yeah with breaks) so I dont think that will be needed but will see maybe she feel for that traveling all the time or maybe she can take one two years break from touring today she can promote new music online basically and left it till AL9 will be released and maybe she wont sing all her biggest hits and she will be focus to perform new music on next tour with just 4 biggest hits I dont know its really Lot of options What she can do haha sorry for long post I read the same argument in this forum when she was about to release a pop punk record (Love Sux). I dont think people forgot she is still making music. Maybe she's not atractive to them anymore.. you cant deny that she hasnt showing any relevant growth on her own music in years, especially to the casual listeners.
