In the TMZ video of them skateboarding you can see Lauren was the one driving. So yeah she’s still part of Avril’s crew.

It seems like Lauren is now working as her personal assistant. Maybe that's why they are still seen together.
Last year, a former employee of Avril recorded a video (in Portuguese because she's Brazilian) and mentioned that she worked for Avril as a personal assistant. Her responsibilities included driving Avril to places, purchasing items for her house, and so on... Of course, she couldn't mention many details due to NDAs and probably due to ethical considerations.
This is probably what Lauren is currently doing for Avril.

In one of those paparazzi pics you can clearly see Lauren there. Whatever happened between them it's already over. She's still in the picture (LITERALLY!) 😂 WHY IS SHE ALWAYS THERE LOL it’s honestly no wonder they seem to fall out so often because they are literally always together it must be suffocating, I don’t get it! most enduring relationship Avril's ever had... unfortunately for her, because her hair looks terrible. |

She basically said: I drove her in and out of places, bought stuff for her house and clothes because she can't be everywhere and follow the normal routine of someone who's not famous, and that's all. Haha, yeah, I also think it was during Lyme, especially because she mentioned she furnished her apartment... and I can't remember Avril living in an apartment. Maybe it was when she divorced + lyme and was absent from the media to take care of her health. |
