Here’s a twist. He has a song called world on fire. Avril sings Flames. Coincidence? He’s also got like a nickleback Chad thing going on too lol. Hes the greatest hits! A combo of it all.

I discovered earlier today he has a song called Under My Skin lol I listened to a bit of it and I actually think Avril would sound phenomenal on it if they duetted on the chorus, like if they did a duet version of it and released it around UMS anniversary would be funny lol |

Ariana Grande just posted a reel showing her meeting with her label and presenting her upcoming album to them. She described a bit about what the album is about and how many songs she was going to play for them, with a printed outline of the visuals and tracklist, etc. I thought it was really interesting and I wish we could see stuff like that about Avril’s album making process, when she shows it to her team, how does she present it, do they give her notes, etc. I would love to see more behind the scenes stuff like that because we rarely see that side of what she does.

It could be a collab for him or maybe she's doing some country writing sessions. The country community has a lot of singer-songwriters and writing for other people is common. I will say, even though I liked what I heard from him, he's very much the stereotypical generic country dude singing about love tropes on an acoustic guitar. He needs to add some more diversity to his sound. But hes good for it for some laid back tracks like Under My Skin. |
