Probably because she is just a fucking joke to every one and if youre a fan you get made fun of an saying she doesn't even release musci anymore even tho she does and get told shes so irrelevant and has been for 17 years and she doesnt have billions and billions of streams yet they like the most absurd awful rappers and shit because thats all anybody this generation likes now a days 

Yeah she doesn’t go to the Grammys unless she’s nominated, which hasn’t happened in literally 20 years, or performing (she only performed once in 2003), or presenting. You have to be invited.

Grammy Award is a joke. Boygenius "Not Strong Enough" won the Rock Performance category. I love Boygenius & Phoebe Bridgers, but their songs are no different than Billie Eilish, it's mellow and no rock. And Paramore "This Is Why" also won the rock category, when it's sounds like pop song.

And if Avril really want to get nominate in Grammy again, stop making songs about couple's love. She can do songs like Nobody's Home/Keep Holding On instead, the Grammy people love these kind of songs.

Bro she made those songs and didn’t get nominated lmao. Also I’m not trusting Grammys with that they literally nominated WAP. The Grammys don’t give a shit about Avril and haven’t since 2003 and honestly we need to accept that sadly

I feel like HAW could have won song of the year if she tried cuz of how besautiful that song is (and i think wouldve been 2019 grammys right) Yeah 2019 the song itsekf i think it could have easily won I mean Shallow didnt even win and that was big competiton. But its also a popularity contest now a days 

HAW is a great song but it’s not SOTY worthy. At best she could have gotten Best Contemporary Christian Song or something but it’s possible she wasn’t able to submit it in that category since she isn’t officially a CCM artist. It wouldn’t have been fair to the actual CCM artists in that category.

I don’t think the Grammys hate Avril, after all she performed at the museum in HAW era and she’s always invited to the pre-party, and as noted before she presented not too long ago. But I honestly think her last several albums just haven’t been there, quality wise. I know a lot of crap gets nominated but at least in those instances they are still popular songs. Avril’s last few albums were neither Grammy level quality or smash successes. There’s more to getting nominated or winning than just the music, that is only one small piece of the puzzle. You need to campaign and schmooze the voters and I just don’t see Avril playing that game. Maybe she’ll be lucky enough to get a lifetime achievement award someday. Look at how long it took Miley to finally get a Grammy. I think if Avril really wants one she has to start upping the level of quality of her music and campaign harder. There’s just no other way around it. I do think she deserves one at this point though. Maybe if she was able to pull out another IWY level song.
