The number of Tik Tok videos using NH audio is increasing. If some of you use Tik Tok, do the trend please. Also, if you have Spotify, please stream the song often, at least this week. Once a day, is ok, the more, the better. Also, I would plan an UMS stream day in Early March. Many people of the "new generation" are finding out about the song and about Avril in general so it's very important that we keep it viral as much as possible. It's so funny how in this fandom, even if we have completely different tastes when it comes to albums, we all love Nobody's Home. I just hope Avril aknowledges this resurfacing of the song To be honest I've actually never been a big fan of it. I think it's overrated. Like it's a fine song but I don't get the hype over it. I do enjoy whenever she's performed it acoustically though, I think it just sounds a lot better acoustic, especially any of the times she's performed it solo. |

I think I like it for how different it is in her catalogue, specifically for 1) not being about love/breakups/relationships; 2) for being a story about someone else told from an "observer" perspective (something I don't think she's ever done aside from this one song). And yeah, I think she always sounds good singing this song live, though she hasn't done it with as much emotion as she used to in the past. |

First time I heard it was before UMS came out and she performed some new songs at Radio 1's Big Weekend. I really liked it then but not so much once I had the album version.
I looked up those performances a week or two ago and I still really like them. She played songs like HW so straight without all the adlibs and things she always does now and I think they work better

This forum is weird. I read here that Avalanche, Give You what you like and Nobodys's Home are overrated. At the same time, there are fans saying that Dare to Love Me is raw and vulnerable... and Souvenir is a perfect pop song.

The result was always a major flop. She hasnt been as big as 2007.. Maybe with WTH and HTNGU they said that but she isnt relevant to the public anymore. The radio only plays new rap song, Taylor, Dua i guess they only play the big big songs... like literally they rotate the top 10 consntatly why everyone gets sick of the radio |

I wouldn’t call NH overrated because it’s one of the best songs in her discography imo. The only song I do think it’s quite widely overrated is Everybody Hurts. People somehow managed to convince themselves that absolutely bland generic snorefest is some big deep moment for her. No, lol.

I wouldn’t call NH overrated because it’s one of the best songs in her discography imo. The only song I do think it’s quite widely overrated is Everybody Hurts. People somehow managed to convince themselves that absolutely bland generic snorefest is some big deep moment for her. No, lol. But different opinions and all that Agree about Everybody Hurts. I like it overall but it’s massively underdeveloped lyrically. It’s supposed to be this “deep” song but it just isn’t. She was in her mid 20s writing that, meanwhile I’ve heard songs with more emotional depth written by teenagers. |

I agree about everybody hurts, it's not the best written song ever... but I just remember going through an extremely dark and hopeless time in my life, crying alone in my dorm room to avril telling me "everybody feels this way, and it's okay. La da da da da, it's okay." It felt like she was the only one there for me, like she was personally comforting me. Honestly it felt like that more than a handful of times. Hence why I'm still here even after everything.

The problem with Goodbye Lullaby songs are, I love the first 30 seconds of the songs, but in the chorus something changed and the songs felt like a different song. Everybody Hurts and 4 Real are the examples, it could be as good as Remember When if the chorus is better.
