![]() Now the Under My Skin album playlist is below the Love Sux Deluxe and Let Go Anniversary ones on her Youtube. No TBDT or GL after, it's a Featured section of latest (and upcoming?) releases, so something is definitely coming!   That’s what I noticed too and NH is pinned on her YouTube page. And I noticed when I checked Saturday? This past weekend, it said d updated yesterday. oh something is coming |

Yeah, if you take a look at the UMS playlist it says "modified 4 days ago". I don't want to get my hopes up, since this could also mean just creating a playlist for the anniversary, but the fact that Avril and her team know the anniversary is close is a great sign.

Yeah, if you take a look at the UMS playlist it says "modified 4 days ago". I don't want to get my hopes up, since this could also mean just creating a playlist for the anniversary, but the fact that Avril and her team know the anniversary is close is a great sign. Oh yeah that alone is a great sign so i hope it means something whether its UMS 20th anniversary edition, more UMS songss and acknowledgement on tour (she has a show the day of the anniversary so that would be awesonme if she acknowledged it and performed an extra song or something from UMS that day) |

Avril doesn't like Under my Skin at all and we can see it in her interviews during tbdt era. It was the album that she got less envolved in the process, made in 6months and probably lot of pressure from the record label to keep the success of Let Go. I wanna hear new songs, not always the same 2.0 formula. the first answer already refutes your words about pressure Slightly off topic but I always wondered why on earth she was doing this interview in front of what looks like a bathtub  |

Avril should use a song to promote UMS 20th anniversary. Like Avril used "Breakaway" to promote LG 20th Anniversary since that it was a hit and known by many. Furthermore, the song reflects her journey, a small town girl who reached her dream and become a big star and still making music today. I think Avril should use an unreleased song. Maybe "Priceless" since that Evan commented that it was a bop & still a bop. The problem is, it maybe an upbeat song since that it was listed in TBDT unreleased songs together with other upbeat songs such "All Because You" & "I Don't Wanna Be".

Wait so I just found out the artist themselves are the ones who put the canvas on the spotify. So Avril did it for NH herself (maybe her team did idk) point being, her and her team are 100% aware of the trend that was going on (until Tiktok removed everything) and i feel are planning something

I wanna be hopefull but she did disappoint us more than once (sometimes not her fault) but at this point if we don't get a 20th annyversary UMS version it would be straight up disrespectful for us, her own discography and herself.
UMS is part of why she's here. I agree that most of the recognition comes from LG and it scored 3 major hits, while UMS had only one and not even near as big as the LG hits BUT still, the album soold pretty well back in the day, hit number 1 and even tho, over time it was overshadowed by both LG and TBDT i still think it's the album that secured her in the industry after such a big hit debut. It was not easy and even if UMS is not perfect at all, it's a very important album for her and her fandom. A fan favorite for instance.
It's not a rule she has to make a 20th version of every of her albums BUT.... if any of her albums deserve these versions and some extra unreleased songs it's for sure her first 3 albums.
I really hope they'll do something about it. And at least 2 unreleased songs never heard before...
because i fear we'll get: I always get what i want, sponge bob square pants theme song, daydream (1min version) and an acoustic version for MHE..... 🤡

Yeah I think we need to remember she’s not obligated to do these, it’s just a nice thing for fans if she does. But it would also boost streams if she put out anniversary editions of her biggest albums, so there is some incentive for her to do it as well. After TBDT I’m not expecting she’ll do any more anniversary editions tbh

The rest of the albums are obviously not so well known and even have their haters among fans (but that’s definitely not me) Although it was interesting to get the original GL version, just the way Avril wanted it. AL may also have interesting things, for example we have nothing from what she did with The Runners. I think Avril could do all this if she wanted, but it seems to me that she doesn’t want to. It seems to me that she is very quickly losing interest in her old works. This is probably why she doesn't use her old songs for new albums, except for those known to us on GL. |

I’m not sure it’s that she doesn’t want to, but possibly a complication with the rights of who owns those songs, etc. If she’s not with those labels anymore she doesn’t have the power to release those songs unless they also agree. There’s probably a lot of legal stuff we don’t know about. Plus it is more lucrative for her to focus on putting out new music and it makes sense she’d rather focus on that. |
