4 Real is one of my favourite songs from GL. The lyrics and melody are simple but just go straight to your heart, a very pure song. I remember listening the album the first time, and this was one of the most i enjoyed. Now it's the same feeling. It was the first song which i learn all the lyrics. Alone and 17... I think they deserved a better position, both are one of the best songs of each album. 17 has a problem with the bad pop production. Real guitars instead of that awfull synths would have been a lot better. My world isn´t a bad song, but I think is one of the most weak of Let Go. The song I dislike the most is Stop Standing there. I could never get into that song, that cheap rhytmn and monotonous melody (knowing that somehow part of it is similar to 4 real, but it does not convey anything to me)

Too Much To Ask - Always has been and probably always will be underrated. It deserves so much more credit. I Love You - Meh. This one is just so bland and repetitive. The only really good thing about it is her vocals. Mobile - Always loved this one. So underrated IMO. Rock ‘N Roll - It's literally shameful this ranked above some of her best songs. I Can Do Better - Love this one, it has such a great message and lyrics. I always listen to it when someone has pissed me off. Goodbye - So dull and bland lyrics. I appreciate she wrote it alone and also produced it, but it's just not that great of a song. It should not be in the top 50.

Did i see what i saw? Rock N Roll being higher than TOO MUCH TO ASK? ?? OMG OMG It's just so wonderful and one of her fewer songs with a diverse structure, since it has 2 difference chours. The lyrics, the sound, the vocals are everything. I Love You is cute and if it wasn't for the repetitive chours, there would have been one of her best song.. i mean the reason i love it's what we have been though and that's why i love you. You just said it... Never got it. I Can Do Better has the same problem of IDHTT, at least to me. The swearing, the bridge ruin the good intention to make it a ''girl power'' song. I just can't overlookin it you're so full of shit..why why?? Is it necessary? Why: one of her best song ever. THE VOCALS ARE PURE HEAVEN. Goodbye, the thing that makes Goodbye great is her interpretation, she's so into it that you forget about the basic lyrics even if the 2 lines of the bridge are amazing.

Mobile is too low. Shame on you, black stars. That Evan song is higher? Okay.

"Too Much To Ask" has great lyrics, a fantastic melody, and is very emotional. It's currently not one of my favourite songs, though, but close to it. It deserves better. I can't believe it got a lower rating than cheesy, boring, lamely produced "I Love You". Never managed to like that song much. It's a lot better live.
"I Don't Give" is one of my favourite songs. Idk, I just really, really enjoy it.
"Mobile" is perfect for car rides. A good song, but it's also kind of filler-ish to me.
"Why" is so overrated. I used to dislike it more than I do now. By now I can actually appreciate the emotion and it being so raw - just Avril's vocals and acoustic guitars. But imo it kinda drags on and I just can't really relate to it. Dunno, overall just okay to me.
"Nobody's Fool" is one of my personal #1 songs. The lyrics are so empowering, the melody is so cool, with those palm mutes and slides in the verses, then the "la la la la la la la", the backing vocals. I even really like that rap/sprechgesang, it totally fits to the song and doesn't sound forced to me at all. In addition to that, the song has helped me through one of the hardest times in my life, so obviously it will always have a very special place in my heart. 🖤
"Best Years of Our Lives" is probably Avril's best collaboration/feat. She sounds fantastic on it and the song itself is very good, too.
"Rock N Roll" is such a guilty pleasure to me. I'm aware of the lyrics that make no sense, the kinda forced mf princess thing again and the imo even more forced reference to "Bad Reputation". The melody is always the same, it's overproduced (though in this case it kind of fits), and it simply totally fails being rock 'n' roll. I used to love the guitar solo and not understand what people had against it, but then I started listening to actual rock music, and I get it now. The solo in RnR is kind of ... weird or something. But despite all those flaws, I really enjoy it a lot most of the time. I guess it's because the song doesn't take itself serious at all. It's just fun and loud and in your face. Totally dumb, but in the best way. 😄
"I Can Do Better" has some really cool aggression, but all these high notes in the chorus get a bit overwhelming after a while, and once the bridge kicks in the song starts dragging on. Somehow it just feels too long to me. Kinda funny, I used to absolutely love this song...
"Goodbye" seems kinda boring in one way, but Avril really, really nails the emotion. Her vocal performance is just so emotional, I can't possibly end up not liking the song. But it's not one of my favourites, so I'm okay with it being #50, I guess.

Rock n Roll is so high. I think it's one of her worst singles and one of the worst songs in her 5th album. A bad copy from the classic I love Rock n Roll. The rest of the songs are very good. I love Goodbye, Nobody's Fool, I can do better and Best years of our lives.
Well, all the tracks from Under my skin are going to be in the first places.

Goodbye is boring as hell, Remember When puts it to shame when it comes to divorce songs. Always loved Why too. It’s so pure and lovely, odd it’s dropped so much! Prefer Evans solo version of Best Years to be honest.

OMG no, "Darlin"!!! It's one of Avril's best songs, so raw, so emotional, simple melody but wonderful instruments, great vocals, great lyrics that always give me strength and make me cry. There's really nothing negative I can say about this song. It deserves to be #1. "Freak Out" - meh. I love rock music, but I could never really get into this song. I find the lyrics kinda childish, the sound/mixing (?) is too loud somehow, Avril's voice is a little shrill or sth., and the song itself simply doesn't really go anywhere. It's just one straight, horizontal line. No real highlights. Meh. "Breakaway" is another song I don't like too much, at least not Avril's version. Like, I get it's just a demo, but Avril's voice sounds kind of... dunno, she sounds as though she's got a cold. And she just doesn't really seem into it. I totally get why she decided to give that song away. She said she didn't feel it. And I can totally hear that whenever I listen to her version. "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" is so beautiful, just Avril's voice, acoustic guitars, and some percussion. I really like the harmonies, too. And the song itself, of course, is simply fantastic. It deserves much better, too. "Get Over It" is another song that deserves to be at least in the top 10 imo. Everything about it is amazing. I totally love the instruments, especially the guitars and the cello. Avril's vocals are another thing that really needs mentioning: so emotional, you can really hear her frustration, anger, and disappointment in the chorus. And with just 17 or so (dunno how old exactly she was when she recorded it). Wow! "Won't Let You Go" is yet another amazing song that deserves better. It's so sweet and nearly always brings me to tears. Hearing Avril sing how she will always be there, that she meant it when she said "forever". It's just so... 💖 I kind of have my problems with "Let Me Go". It's definitely a good song, but it just sounds more like a Nickelback leftover to me than an Avril song. And I absolutely hate Chad's vocals, his voice is so scratchy, I really can't stand it. Also, the lyrics - I mean, they're good, but quite unrelatable to me. On the other hand, Avril's voice is wonderful, the piano is really great, and I really love this whole mysterious, dramatic, wintery mood. "Adia" is fantastic. Amazing vocal performance, amazing instruments. Also deserves to be higher. "How Does It Feel" is so unpopular, and I kinda get it. The lyrics aren't very good and the chorus is quite repetitive. But WYWH has exactly the same issues, even more so imo, yet it's totally popular. THAT's what I don't get. Anyway, I absolutely love HDIF, it's so emotional, especially the powerful bridge - nearly always makes me cry. Oh, and the guitars with all those palm mutes - pure perfection. This song definitely deserves much better and definitely did not deserve to drop 12 fucking spots, wth?! "Naked" is another great, emotional song, but I wish the outro-chorus/outro wasn't so long. Once that part kicks in, there's not much new happening. That's the only complaint I have about this song, though.

I don’t have particularly strong feelings about any of those songs which makes me sad cos I’m enjoying commenting on them all hahah. Naked is fab (but what isn’t fab on LG tbh) and Let Me Go is murdered as soon as Chad chimes in
thank u, next

Yeah if it was just Chad it’d be alright I reckon. They just don’t work well together. Chad’s voice is too agressive for a husband wife duet lol.

Darlin - such a sweet song, it makes me cry however I don't always feel like listening to it nor would I put it above some others...
Freak Out - I like singing that song, it's one of the few upbeat songs on UMS, young me loved screaming out the lyrics.
Breakaway - I don' relate it to Avril. I'm so used to Kelly Clarkson singing it. Maybe if Avril's version was high quality...she also doesn't show as much emotion as KC.
Knockin' On Heaven's Door - haven't heard it in a long time and don't really remeber it. It's okay.
Get Over It - Not my fav bside, I think some others deserved it's spot
Won't Let You Go - I LOVE it, such a good song. Reminds me a lot of KHO but more piano driven. It has also such good production. Wish she had made it a bonus on GL. Should me much higher.
Let Me Go - Recently I began to notice that it is a rock ballad. I do like it a lot, such a good song. Avril sounds great in it, Chad.....well I could do without him. At first I hated Chad on it but it's whatever now. I wish they would have kept to original plan of it as a break up song.
Adia - I love it, I love every acoustic performance from the Roxy.
How Does It Feel - I think it's overrated by fans, so many people like it. I find it boring and repetitive. I have to really be in the mood to appreciate it but it still bores me.
Naked - I think it's underrated by me haha when I listen to it I realize how good it is but forget soon after.
