I didn't like the other thread getting closed. Nobody wanted or wants anything bad. We are just Avril's fans for whom it's never enough and hearing few songs more is very exciting regardless if it was legal or not. It wasn't directly posted here, it was just a link and it was cool to have some discussion about it. I thought it was forum for fans of Avril and anything can be discussed here, but seems like some people like to do problems out of nothing lol, people weren't killing each other there, but whatever...
I personaly think, that these songs were purposely leaked to make people hyped even more.
Do guys have any link where I could watch grammys live?

Even though I'm a bit bummed about the original HAW thread being closed now, I totally understand it. Posting download links for copyrighted material and asking for such links is against forum rules. And it's not just out of respect to Avril to refrain from such things, Bandaids and ProBoards could actually end up in legal trouble (as far as I know). I just hope the thread will be opened again at some point. I'm also a little bummed about this thread. I thought it was about HAW flavoured tea. Sorry for the confusion hahaha haha no problem, I was just joking.  |

We totally get people have been waiting such a long time for new music but we’ve always had the rule against illegal content. This includes asking for links - the rules are clear and frankly they are not up for debate. The reality is that yes, as Tamy said there could be legal issues for us; ProBoards is our forum host and they have their own legal obligations. Having illegal content on a PB forum is against TOS and they can shut us down at the drop of a hat. It is also a point of principle; we are a fan site whom supports avril. Whilst the harm of leaks is very much debatable, we don’t want them on here period. People have not heeded our requests so we have taken more extreme action. |

There is no legal trouble for Bandaids since it was external links and not connected to bandaids in any way. Closing the one thread that was active in this forum was like the silliest move ever, unless admins and moderators like to be admins and moderators of an empty forum! I remember the good days when bandaids was a great forum and you could find any video/song or any unpublished material of Avril on here. We are all fans, we all buy her albums and singles so there’s no harm to post some really low quality snippets on here. If bandaids staff is trying to covert this forum in a boring place when good Avril fans would not be able to find any news or interesting material anymore, go for it, you are almost there! It will be nice and easy to admin an empty forum! |

PS. Hosting wouldn't be so harsh to shut down whole forum just for "illegal links", they would eventually ask you to remove them and eventually ban people, who posted them. It's not you who risks any troubles, but people who post or ask and I suppose that everyone is responsible for himself/herself.
