It's funny how Avril says HAW is the best video she has shot. Like lol, really?! 

I'm surprised to see "I Fell in Love with the Devil" so high, especially above classics like "Sk8er Boi". It's not a bad song, but I don't think it's even close to being right outside of the top 10 of her entire discography.

GF video at 6??? Probably her best video.

Complicated at 11. I'd be shocked if she ever manages to top that song. It was very well done. It's not even my favorite
Speaking of favorites, I'm convinced IFILWTD is so hight is because it's a fan favorite. It's good for something she wrote on her own but it's still basic compared to other songs.

HAW not dropping is interesting. I mean it’s a great song, I just thought it’d drop from #2 this year. Not sure on Birdie top 10 but hey ho.

The music video ranking isn't very surprising. But as I mentioned before, I think most of Avril's music videos, especially during the first three eras, are really good, 10/10. I personally still probably would've but He Wasn't at #1, I just love the energy in that video so much, but the average top 5 is definitely fine, too.

I always disagree with the top 10 songs, haha. The only two songs I might've put this high in my personal ranking are Nobody's Home and Fall To Pieces. Birdie is really good / 10-point-worthy too imo, but it's just not as good as some other songs. Innocence and When You're Gone are really overrated imo; I just find them too cheesy. KHO is okay, but also kinda cheesy. IWY is nice and I get why fans love it so much, but it's just a bit too slow for my taste. I honestly think it drags on. MHE... it's a good song, but I've just heard it too many times. And HAW and IWIM are a little ruined by the production or mixing (or both?). That's my problem with most of Avril's songs since GL era - the production/mixing is either flat or kind of over the top / too clear-sounding, which actually gives me headaches after a while.

I'd be really interested to know if there are any significant voting differences between long-time fans (e.g. since before GL/AL era) and those that became fans rather recently (during AL or HAW era). Sometimes, when looking at Twitter, I feel that the newer fans seem to appreciate HAW and AL more than we long-time fans tend to.

Anyway, to finish this little essay, I want to thank Uncle Bob and the rest of the BA team and everyone else involved for making this rating possible once again. It's one of my favourite things about BA and has been since I first participated. As always, I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Wow interesting that the top 4 songs are exactly the same as last year lol Well her ballads always rank well, so I guess that’s why a lot of them are in the top 10, though frankly I wouldn’t put IWIM there. I’m not personally a huge fan of WYG either but it’s one of her biggest hits, so it has its place. I’m surprised HAW is at #2, it deserves top 10 I think, but I didn’t think it would outrank some of her classics.

Top music videos are pretty much deserved, though as much as I like the video for Alice I think #8 is too high since throughout most of the video she’s just running around in a forest.
