It definitely is a grower! I'm finally listening to it in HQ and you can appreciate the production a lot more.Slight autotune, but come on guys, we've heard MUCH worse with her, including in plenty of album tracks. This is actually subtle in comparison.
I still fin that second verse of the song a bit off, there's something unconvincing about the structure of the song. But the last chorus makes up for all that, tbh. It's probably her best non-album collab.

It doesnβt sound as a filler to me, neither a single material. Just a nice song but with a weird structure.
Just, I donβt want any of these type of songs in Avrilβs album.
Or maybe it just time for us to understand that she will never have an album as her first 3.
Still I think she has many great songs on AL, GL and HAW just that these albums are not cohesive but overall I love many of these songs than some older ones as IWIM, TMIO, WYWH, GYWYL, BGirl, etc.

Definitely a grower. Finally listening on Spotify. I really like the drums. Still not foo fighters but still very rock sounding. Like someone said, it's too short. Just when it gets good it ends. Zayn's single was also very short but longer than this one. Anyways, I think they meshed well. Yeah Avril sounds girly and pop. But this is the first song I actually enjoy more than once from mod sun. Bones was nice and karma is okay but this one hits...probs cus of Avril. And I like his hard dirty vocals that's what rock is about for me. Feldy did a good job with these two.

It gets even better in HQ. I hear the riffs clearly and it's so catchy, i really love the guitars here seriously. (and the drums obviously). ALSO, the vocals in the background kinda echo-ing? so pretty. The harmonies sound beautiful too.
I know it's a bit repetitive but i think the melody to the song is really beautiful even if it's not the most complex we've heard.
