MODSUN parts are pretty good, consistent with the other videos. The song so short its impossible to showcase much tho, but I liked his parts. The combined parts between them are just OK. She looks good, but the scenes themself are not something unique.
Like the song, it completly feels like a Modsun video ft Avril, as it should be.

Well Avril has never been the best lip sync her in her music videos,but I still really love this video. She does look fantastic. Iβm just riding the excitement wave and feel buzzed from all the fan reception

Lol she looks AMAZING! Video was great. Her lip syncing is always so-so but she did great. I just got over Covid, and getting my taste and smell back gradually, so this last week and a half has been a nightmare. This just made me tear up a bit. Itβs just nice to see her, when everything else seems to be falling apart. Provides comfort .

A pretty decent video, not a masterpiece but better than HAW so i'm happy.
My favorite scene is where he sings in that jail surrounded by angry people. I wish the last scene where they sing together would've happened there. Not a big fav of her scenes in the cemetery, but overall it's a pretty good video. Agree that Avril looks dead compared to ModSun...but oh well, she's never been a good actress SO....
Edit: ok they're not "angry people" they seem to be fans LOL but they look angry haha

What a killer music video! If I could say one slightly negative thing about it, it's that in some scenes, I miss some passion from Avril. But I feel MOD SUN really helps her bring out some of it. When they sing together, facing each other - wow!
So yeah, the above is the only slight criticism I have. Everything else is awesome! Honestly, this is the best music video featuring Avril I've seen since probably TBDT era. (EDIT: Best video since TBDT era, if we hadn't gotten IFILWTD.)

If the scenes where the room was incinerated it was Avril and not Modsun, I would 100% say this is amazing Avril video and one of the best . As it is now, nah, I prefer many of the videos from GL to HAW more when it comes to Avril acting and energy. |

I really liked the video! The opening scene in the graveyard was a really nice touch, it did remind me of the Devil video. βInternet killed the rockstarβ I think refers to streaming and trends killing rock music and stuff, a clever little thing to throw in there. Though it could also be a reference to the Avril is dead conspiracy, especially since she is actually sitting next to the grave.
The pyro was great and Mod really brought the energy and intensity this song calls for. The damaged taxi was a nice little Easter egg to throw in from the Karma video.
I agree Avrilβs parts felt a little underwhelming, like she was not putting in as much energy or intensity as him, but weβll, itβs not her video so I guess it can kind of slide. Unfortunately sheβs never been too great at acting or lip synching in her own videos. At least she looked good I guess? Lol
Overall, a really good video with strong, solid production value. Itβs certainly one of the better videos sheβs made in a while. Hope she will keep this team for her own stuff, though as we can see, a video is only as good as the artist can make it, no matter how good the production team is. To be frank, Avril has to put more energy and emotion into her performance for it to work, no matter how good the team behind the scenes is.

I thought the video was really nice! It was pretty simple, but I wasn't expecting them to showcase too much since it is such a short song. I do think it's funny though that some fans are saying "Internet Killed the Rockstar" is a reference to the whole Melissa conspiracy theory. Mod Sun pretty much just confirmed that is his upcoming album's title, so I don't think it was anything more than that.

Artistically it's much better than most we've been served in the last eras. Maybe because of the nostalgia factor I won't deny it but in any case I really enjoy it and I am very much looking forward to see how AL7 will turn out after this. |

She honestly looks like many of us look or would look like if we'd try to act for the first time, ha ha. It kind of feels like when someone is afraid they'd "overdo" the emotions and end up appearing "ridiculous", so they end up kind of stiff and shyish - at least that's my impression. Maybe she'd need to make a collaboration with one of the less known alternative rock/metal bands with woman front vocals, so she'd have another girl beside her screaming her lungs out, ha ha :-). |

I don't have mucho to Say. Maybe in a couple of hours after My head cools off. I really love the graveyard scene, I thought it was a Nice bones reference but I Also think that it was Made on purpose so fans can have something to talk about the never ending theory conspiracy. Also, I read that it is modsun's new album name. They really look good in every scene. Avril shots are Nice but I know it's not her music video to give it all. I hope it gives more strenght to the song and reaches a higher position in the charts.
