Is it confirmed she's collabing with MGK and not just writing with him? Everything I've seen has only been them working together, not him featuring on her songs

It's not confirmed.. but in the pictures Avril posted you can see MGK with the headphones in the recording part of the studio.. like he was singing. Then there's another pic of Avril recording and MGK telling her something from the door like if she had to change or adjust her vocals.. We don't know if there's a collaboration, We actually assumed it.. also reading the comments in random MGK fandom profiles, everybody assumed there was a collaboration (and everyone was extremely happy).. So yes, we don't know. But I would be curious and happy just in case.   |

Being an Avril Fan is always up and down with disappointment then excitement, Iβm kinda use to that by now. Iβve forgiven her now for the terrible live stream concert a few months ago. Haha

Actually she's never spoken about "a release of a new record" but mostly "new fun music in 2021", all the time. So, imo, I'm not surprised if she wants to follow Mod's style to release 3 songs (and again, among these, the collab with MGK who has a great big fandom) and then release the record, at the end of this year. Tour, will follow next year Probably she just wants to release songs in the time they matter to her, while, in the meantime keeping on working on her record which will contain them. Who knows. recently she answered coments on instagram....if she is making a new pop punk record (she anwered positive)...and if it's going to be her best album yet....(duh!..she wrote). |

I think she knows already when the album will be released that's why she keeps saying "this year". She isn't going to take that long in the studio either. John Feldmann probably has a deadline and other projects to work on it. He said in multiple interviews how he likes to work in one project at a time. I choose not to be pessimistic this time because till now she didn't give me a reason to. I'm positive a lead single really is coming and maybe another one and then the album

The "font" on his shirt is his handwriting and I guess he had the idea of writing it on his shirt while being on set, it probably wasn't planned and the tombstone was made many days before the shoot, but I agree his handwriting would've looked much cooler on the tombstone. |

Avril had 700 million streams on spotify in 2020. That number is great. Britney did 1 billion and she has the double amount of music. Many artists from the early 00's couldn't adapt to streaming so that's pretty good considering avril's last solid WW hit was what the hell HAW did great there too. A christian ballad with almost 200 million plays for her first lead in the spotify era is very telling how she can grow there. I'm really curious on how this next lead supposedly upbeat will do on spotify Oh wow! 700 million is really good compared to her peers who have bigger spotify payola/reach. She could reach 1 billion a year for 2021 with AL7. |

Aw, that hug they shared after she wrapped up her scenes! I felt that. I actually sincerely couldn't care less who she dates, but do you guys think there's something going on there? Mod posted this yesterday on his stories. I immediately thought it looked like something Avril would paint. We know she likes painting in her spare time, and she's probably having more free time these days since John Feldman seems to be currently on vacation with his family in Bora Bora.  They were together riding their bikes on the beach just 1 hour after this was posted too. Just wondering. Doesn't really make any difference to me as long as she's happy and it doesn't disturb her album. |

I wouldn't put an estimate on how long she'll be in the studio. We also don't know if Feldman will be the only producer so he may move on and she could still be in the studio. It's funny how she spends so long in the studio yet we barely see the results. I don't want 15+ songs in one album but I hope she does put out more songs later on in a deluxe version. Those usually come with new cover art so it'd be cool if she does that imo.

She can date whoever she wants in my book, but yeah, I totally get the apprehension as far as her album goes.
If that's Mod's painting in Avril's backyard it looks like it could be a gift to her? Maybe he was just trying to thank her for the visibility she gave him and everything she's done. This is all merely speculative and it doesn't make any real difference to me anyway, I was just curious to see what you guys thought.
